I got isida today, whenever I play against it it feels like a dps machine but the energy consumption is actually a madness when you use it.

I would try to focus more on healing but I want to get some kills every now and again so my KD dosent go to utter s**t like some other isida players.

Theres a big difference in gameplay impact between it and twins too - i feel that twins can carry games where your teammates are worse than the opponents but isida shines when you have evenly matched teams - if one team has isida and the other dosent, isida team almost always wins.

That's why it sucks so much that they removed self-healing, before an Isida was a real killer, now you're just a sitting duck. I won't use it because I like my d/l.

Hehe... some posters call Isida OP and want it removed from the game. Others call it a sitting duck. The reality is between the two.

Isida is no sitting duck but it is a bullet magnet.  Players know the priority to kill the isida. So Isidas attract more attention than other hulls.  But Isidas also are a major benefit in team games. In DM Isidas can hold their own.

In the 15 months I have been playing the current Isida design is the best design concept yet. Self-heal is absolutely not required. Battlefield awareness and quick decision making are.

The removal of selfhealing definetly makes it worthless to me. Might just be because I like to have a good d/l.

How does d/l help you?

Isida is good for destroying 1 tank quickly or for getting a decent score in team battles. BUT - you need tanks to heal - not hornets that run out and quickly die.

I'm an attack guy. I want as much kills and as little as possible deaths. A good d/l shows that I did my job, it satisfies me.

I have no clue

People past the rank of 3rd lieutenant still using m1s should probably quit the game and make a new account, but because of the time they have invested into the game already, they keep thier trash account and join high ranked games like mine, only to sabotage the team indirectly with thier bad equipment

bogus

bogus

Dude, youre first lieutenant with m1s and m0s, trash modules and a terrible KD.

Youve earned 222k, which is a substantial amount, but instead of putting it to good use, you probably bought lots of full price m1s instead of m2s on sales.

Most battles you join, unless you are the only lieutenant and the rest are warrant officers, you are essentially a mult and a detriment to your team, especially when they couldve had someone who managed their crystals better and bought some m2s and decent modules.

Unless youre sitting pretty with a large sum of crystals up your sleeve, or getting ready to bust your wallet on tanki, id suggest that your account is a failure.

Do whatever you want with it, its yours to use. I was just stating the fact that its a bad account to use, thats all. Never said you shouldnt use it.

About my first post, it was probably wrong to suggest they should quit the game, but it was not wrong to suggest that they should make a new account.

Failed accounts are very hard to revive in a game like tanki where its very hard for the F2P user to begin with, let alone when you have an equipment disadvantage. Unless youre willing to spend a little cash to revive the failure, its very hard.

When you are talking the LT-Col range it is literally easier to re-start an new account than it is to "rescue" a poorly developed account.  A couple=few weeks and you are back to the WO levels. But now you are MUing your m1 stuff and are already in better shape than the old account.

Keep the old account to test hulls nd turrets before you invest in them with your main.

people say that isida and the titan dont go together, but they do with the titan and isida you can heal while being attacked with out taking much damage. capture the flag with a m2 or m3 titan+ isida m1, you can survive a skirmish involving at least 4 players and deal a lot of damage to all of them, this actualy is a good combo for veterans.

Might be useful in some limited applications (like Polygon CP, top level of Silence / bottom level of Noise).

But good luck on large maps or when you need to follow (team-mates) or chase (enemies) someone.

Played with what might have been the best team-oriented team ever last night.  We had my Isida and another one on a Viking.  The other team had three, one medium and two light hulls.  Both teams played so well. Our Vikng kept defending the flag. I helped him when needed and helped our offense when not.  Tanks were leaving pickups for the teammate who needed it, uing ODS as efficiently as you could want, and maeuvreing to HELP teammate's LOF and healing.  Both teams were playing well but out Viking/Isida anchor played better. :)

It was awesome fun.  When you have a team like that, then that is when playing Isida is the best gaming experience Tanki has to offer.  You get to see the team working as a unit not just a bunch of vehicles.  The decisions come at you fast .. total immersion.

I might get Isida M2 on the next sale, so I wonder: is Hunter/Isida a good combo for Island/Polygon/Sandbox? Any other maps this combo may perform well on? I'm not willing to buy a second hull.
