Hornet/Rail= Very popular, but so is Viking/Thunder. Most importantly, this combo can be used in intense, drug-free XP battles as you rank. I'm sure you've seen that I'm a hardcore Waspy, so this goes without saying, but I prefer the Mosquito (Wasp/Rail) combo. They can join some XPs and IMO gives you more feel for the gun and also better aiming opportunities. Just something you might like to try :) So otherwise, well, do you already use Hornet? If not, give Viking a try.

 

Viking/Thunder= One of the favorite combos in the community. I use it M1, and it works great. Drive is smooth, and Viking gives you just enough 'bounce' to aim up or down. It's great to use. I would go with this one, unless you don't use Hornet and want something faster. I suggest maybe going for Thunder/Hunter though, at M1 Hunter beats Viking in every stat except power.  M2 is still great, and then Hunter M3 beats Viking stat-wise again.

I've just purchased Isida, and I have to say, I love it. The healing is very useful in team battles.

 

I love the self-heal, though. If you're fighting inexperienced players who don't really know how to utilize their turret, you can circle strafe while leeching their health out. If you see a flipped tank (common on Esplanade or Madness), it's normally something to ignore if you have higher priorities, but Isida turns those beached whales into a source of delicious blood free health.

 

It's a little bloodsucking leech that heals you, damages enemies, and heals teammates; what's not to like?

I used to like Isida, but while it's still useful, I find I don't use it as often I did in the past. Very helpful in team battles, but if I'm looking to get a top score, I wouldn't use it. Of course, this is coming from a measly WO4,I dunno if M2 is worth it.

Well I'm sort of happy it got nerfed. Before, a drugging Isida was pretty much un-killable.

Now, when I see one, they're not what they used to be, a "fear machine," king of stealing flags. :P

You've never seen me play then. Either I score high with caps or really aggressive kill stealing and healing. During double funds I aimed high and got quite a few first places in long CTFs, even once in a Stadium. :)

If you're really into healing then YES. Since Isida has been nerfed, less people are using it. In my ranks, I'm usually the only Isida in my team especially in Stadium or Monte-Carlo CTFs, which means LOTS of points for healing.
