o.k., yeah, the self healing + healing others are it's 2 good defensive attributes, but: against other turrets of equal (and lower) levels it loses ground.

Like I mentioned, I went toe-to-toe against another Hornet + Freeze (WO2) and was killed before my Isida was even half discharged, and this kind of thing happens regularly (unless I'm drugged). As for range, I've seen other players using Isida at higher levels that have better range, but at this level (M1, WO5), I have to get close before it engages an opponent. Sure, once it "latches on" there's a little elasticity, but not much.

how about buffing isida to have a spread damage and healing? like freeze and fire, so it can heal and attack multiple targets, of course maybe nerf the range or something

My absolute least favorite turret in Tanki Online

Why did I buy M2... twice...

I bought M2 Isida on Tanki's 5th birthday... and I loved it (:

But yeah... it is not so useful in crowded places and it is definitely not fun when things start to heat up.

I am sure you can still find some good uses for it (:

wut that sounds highly unlikely. Isida usually wins 1v1s versus other turrets due to its self healing. Face-to-face mammoth wars, Isida > Freeze > Fire

Isida is weak though. Takes forever to kill Hunters +

Not that weak. My (vanilla) M2 Isida can take out unprotected M2 Vikings in one clip, although it does take a while. The self healing usually makes up for that.

http://prntscr.com/6ig7d7 Blue had 5 Izzies while we had 5 Fires. Problem was blue was turning their turret, drugging, coordinated and half was M4 while our team was M2's and M1's. TBH only 2 of us were pulling our weight. Noob teams are noob

what kind of statement is that?? both sides score are acceptable

I'm posting here because I need some advice from somebody who

understands the Isida Turret and has more experience with it. I'm

a strict Isida tanker, meaning I strictly specialize in using Isida

with the Hornet hull and barely ever use any other configuration.

I just reached the rank required to upgrade my Isida to M1, so now

the only thing left for me to do is to gather the crystals needed for it.

I don't purchase crystals, and I probably never will, so my question

obviously is:

What is the most crystal efficient way to get my Isida Turret and my

Hornet Hull from M0 up to M3? Is it cheaper to wait until I gather the

resources and instantly upgrade it one step at a time, or should I

invest in partial upgrades and get the supposed "discount" on the

final upgrade? I'm guessing the instant option works better, but I

honestly don't know, since it's my first time reaching the first

upgrade point in the game...

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out :)

Don't do more than first few MU's for any equipment until you get M3. 1-5 levels usually, refer to wiki MU schedule.

As to maps and battles, I suggest long battles for more crystals 1 hour battles is good. Small maps many tanks. Polygon Cp is good. TDM on many maps.

As Isida, to be honest M1 Isida gets pretty weak compared to other weapons through the W/O ranks, so be ready to do a-lot of battles. However M2 does come along really quick at 3rd Lt. and it is a good weapon. Save for it too.

You may want to switch to hunter for more armor, but if you prefer using Isida at speed you might stick with Hornet.

Definitely get M1 hornet or wait for M1 Hunter and get it, M0 Hornet is too weak at W/O ranks.

So, the power of Isida.

Not the best but its one of my best games with it so far!

-Kept Healing teammates

-went to front lines to help heal the flag capturer

-Returned the flag a few times

-stayed back to heal heavies

-moved to some distant teammates who needed health (usually slow Mammoths)

-captured 1 flag

-helped defend the flag my blocking/attacking enemies charging noobfuly

-TEAMWORK

^all of these helped me^

I do however recommend you get another turret. Preferably a medium/long range turret. The reason being is it could.....get pretty boring over time playing the same style over and over and over. Also, as you go up in ranks, Isida may or may not get weaker, esp. against Ricochets and Twins, depending on how you use it (with drugs or MU'ed). Nice to see that you're pretty skillful at your favorite turret ;)
