I know a lot of you have been here far longer than me, but to me, "old Tanki" was back in May-June 2013 (not very old :3), back when Moon Silence was still here, back when fly hackers were everywhere, back when Mammoth was still OP, back when the Freezing time was long as hell, back when there was no friends system, back when the loading screen had the moving bullets, back when micro upgrades were non-existent, back when FederalBureauFBI was still a Marshal, back when MisterGeneral was Mister_G, back when BarbaFenner89 was still here, back when Lham was a forum mod, back when flae was still a Lieutenant, back when robbie's main wasn't banned, back when corruption didn't ruin the game, back when the game developers actually considered players' opinions, back when greed was not prominent in the developers, back when Tanki gave legit sales (65% Rail), back when Tanki didn't give out crystal buying sales instead of garage sales, back when everyone was actually satisfied with Tanki Online..

 

Why can't Tanki return to this??

It's all about money. It's all about Tanki getting money at the end. Getting people to buy cry instead of really good discounts.

 

I remember back before the rebalance, I upgraded my firebird to m2 at Master Sergeant! I wish I still had it.  :(

Of course it's all about money. The developers have their own families to feed, stuff to buy, but most importantly, they are using that money to keep Tanki going and developing new stuff. So respect the buyers, because without them, Tanki would not be here.

I played Tanki for the first time when Fort Knox was the most popular map (I mean the real Fort Knox) when I could see ricochet in a low level, when tanki had a poor graphic, when some turrets and hulls were unlocked in some ranks, when tanki had few players..

 

Who can know when I started tanki? I forgot but I can remember these things :) (don't ask me about my low rank)

Of course it's all about money. The developers have their own families to feed, stuff to buy, but most importantly, they are using that money to keep Tanki going and developing new stuff. So respect the buyers, because without them, Tanki would not be here.

^Both, because they both run with the support of each other. Buyers buy to support the developers and in turn devs bring updates, if devs didn't get us useful updates, buyers' wouldn't buy.

and when the game was full of fly and teleport hackers.

 

old tanki was when the loading screen was DOTS,

It said: 'the first preperation of you tank takes a few minutes

It will be faster later on !

for me back when crystal box`s were only 10 or 100i used to played for hours now with players leaving and the re-balance in the game and even mods leaving things have gone down hill and will it get better who knows

I joined back in late 2011 i believe. Right after shaft came out and well before rebalance. One of my memories was the day update 123 came out and I didnt know, so i started playing battles and saw that every crystal box that came down was 10 crystals!!!!!!! i didnt realize prices had been increased too. I thought it was a glitch, so i played 16 hours that day and used all of my drugs, only to learn the next day when i looked at the garage prices and ohh.......... Dissapointment. Bruce Lunga was the best back then, and freeze was so op with its freeze effect. I really miss those days, i also miss moonsilence. For me 2012 was the best year for tanki. Battles were so fun and gameplay so diverse. I miss those old days, when the game was constantly evolving, and good update after good update. What i wouldn't give for a day of tanki in early 2012 with freeze and hornet m0!
