1. Know all the drop zones for the gold box on the map you are on.

2. When the siren sounds, self destruct if possible.

3. Go near a drop zone, don't kill anyone, most times they will leave you alone.

4. Try to stand back enough that you won't get damaged a lot. When the golds falls, if you are wearing a light hull, wait a seconds and then go in. You almost never want to be the one under the gold box with everyone shooting at you. If you have a heavy hull, go for it right away due to the decreased speed.

5. Grab the gold box and smile :D

Yes, it's kinda incorrect tip. There are defects of it too, so it depends on situation.

No i really want to know...i have seen in many goldbox videos, people with full health self destructs..is it just a common practice or there is some well thought out reason behind this?

LoL. When I go to one specific spot where gold drops, it always drops on the other speific spot :(

I believe the idea is so that the drugs do not run out when gold drops. Self destructing means you can being your 60sexond drug time again. That's why most youtubers do that. Also means you can have full HP.

 

But. If you are on full HP and aren't drugging, there's no need ;)

I think 3000 should always have a chance of dropping. Like maybe 1 out of 5 gold boxes is a 3k. Maybe put a 2k in there too? Because let's be honest, 1000 cry doesn't really help you purchase anything much quicker. 3k on the other hand...
