Change the mission. For people that don't have much time to play or their rig causes them to lag sometimes, Gold missions are no more than a pain in the you-know-what.

Gold mission is a curse not a mission! I missed 3 Golds in 2.5 hours, all due to the servers fault. :LOL:

Is it just me who feels that Gold Boxes seem to be falling less and less over the last 3 weeks? Before, it used to fall almost every battle, now it falls like every 3 or 4. I heard that when u get to higher rank, Gold Boxes fall more often, is this true? If it is, what about the WO's that could Rly do with a Gold Box? Gold Boxes are impossibly hard to get. They should fall more often as well.

The probability for a gold box to fall hasn't been changed. It's still 1/10 000.

Every crystal that's added to the fund has a probability of 1/10 000 for the gold to fall. So if the fund is 10 000 crystals, at least 1 gold box must have fallen in theory.

Just completed my Gold box mission! I easily got it after the 3rd gold box drop. Couldn't be happier. Thanks to RowanJesse, Hoedinie and Ali220LM:

Every crystal that's added to the fund has a probability of 1/10 000 for the gold to fall. So if the fund is 10 000 crystals, at least 1 gold box must have fallen in theory. 

If you play Tanki at least 30mins a day, you should know this theory doesn't work. I've already been in battle which I joined into at the very beginning. The fund reached 20k, and not a single Gold had fallen.

:D Actually, my math marks are well beyond bad, so I think I can consider myself not so mathematically-uneducated, thus I know that if a chance is 1/10k the damn thing must occur when you reach 10k iterations. That's clearly not the case.

Not quite... I agree that the more times you check whether a Gold had dropped in 10k Fund, the closer the chances should get 1/10k. But that's NOT the case.

You just told same as this:

When you flip coin 1st time, and head comes, does it mean, next time it's more probable tail will fall? NO. probability is still same. Theoretically... yes it should work.

Theoretically, only one gold box falls when the fund reaches 10,000.

Yeah, but probability applied to non theoretical things doesn't works as it's predicted.
