So you know how some days are just not your days for golds? Well, that day is today for me, and today is the ONLY day out of the ENTIRE event that I will be online...

 

I was in a game, using Dictator, and 3 golds dropped. I missed the first 2 rather embarrasingly, then the third, I was just about to get, then somehow some viking shot up on top of the pile and nabbed it. Idk if it was hacks, but he was not jump hacking. I did not see him touch the box, as it was about to touch me on top of the pile.

Well after a very long time (712 posts to be exact) I'm back (temporarily at least).

Haven't seen or caught any golds, but wanted some advice on a paint to buy. I'm looking at Urban, Hohloma, Loam, Winter, and Rhino. Thoughts?

Urban- great for poly CP, I would say that if you perfer those games. Also looks good.

Hohloma- All protections around 20, which are pretty low at your rank. However, it is sexy af.

Loam- great fire prot, but basically nonexistent other prots. I would say to not get it.

Winter- No. Not enough shafts to be worth getting.

Rhino- Not a bad paint at all. 2 protections at 30% is good. Works great in Rio and Noise CTFs, and also pretty decent for Poly CP.

 

I would say buy Urban, but also consider Cherry if you have enough crystals.

I'm going for Cherry, depending on how my missions look after the server update today. I'm 5.5k from being able to get M3 Rail and Cherry, which should be achievable, but I'd rather not take chances and not get rail.

I wouldn't recommend Hohloma, Winter, nor Rhino. It all depends on what you play a lot of and what maps you play. For me, since I play quite a bit of CP I'd get Loam because Fires are a pain in the butt to deal with -- especially if you use another close range turret.

 

So far for me I'm buying Viking M3 on this account, Hammer M3 on @150010836, Storm on Cupcake, and possibly Shaft M1 on Cupcake too.

 

Oh and will Hammer M3 be worth it? I'm planning on buying the Stormbringer kit (totally not for gold purposes). Or maybe Shaft?

Another glitchy Gold in Kungur CTF... Look my number of Crystals, from 816 to 817K (yes, I saved for months for the MU sale ^^)
 
Anyway, my profile should show 13 Golds, but only 11 since I got two "glitchy" Golds.

I was in a poly cp earlier, and after 3 15 minute rounds, no golds fell. We finally got 2 that fell the last round, and I grabbed the first of those.

got another gold this time on noise ctf near the blue defense box spawn (where it spawns instantly by the defense sign) using wasp m1 and isida m2 and premium xD (no proof) there was a bumblebee and a hornet m1 and rail m1 then the hornet m1 flipped the bumblebee and i made the rail and hornet back up with my isida m2 sinc ehe had no armour on and sat ont he point and got the gold :D
