Gold boxes were a bad idea from the start, all people play for nowadays is gold boxes.

Crystal boxes held no value if you caught them, Gold Boxes do.

When there were crystal boxes lot's of players were playing just for them.. don't see how you can think that playing only for golds is bad but only for crystal boxes is not.

when crystal boxes were in the game most people ignored the battle and picked them up... with a gold, everyone abandons all aspects of battle for about 20-30 seconds.. as soon as someone gets the gold box everyone returns to battling

I only don't play in DMs when I completed all my missions. Makes for a fun sport, gold hunting. :P

Gold Box #1385. First Gold ever in the map Valley. I don't know if somebody dropped it or if it was a "normal" Gold... Anyway, soon, I will post some Gold I caught in new maps (Desert, Scope, Siege, Zone...), all dropped by players.

I'm happy to report that the Dictator was never really in with a chance-he went to early. Instead I was able to rely on Hunter's height advantage to snag the gold over the viking, so I'll be upset when I have to replace this hull with the more viable, but shorter one... :angry: And I'm really proud of this catch, especially in that spot I hadn't caught a gold in before. I was going to switch to Titan but didn't have time, which ended up helping me since I was able to jump on a Viking (sorry again, Viking users) and catapult backwards into the gold!
