I absolutely HATE Gold Boxes. During Polygon CP (155 points, 135-135) every ***** abandons point to get the gold box on the other side of the map. I HATE losing because of some losers who prefer +1000 crystals instead of winning the game. I was first in team and I had over 3000 points but only got 1.4k crystals because of these pathetic losers.

That is a trade off, I often ignore golds for the sake of the point unless its already captured by my team.

Strange... I have about a week since my last gold, then I get 2 within 15 minutes of each other.

One on my main. Someone dropped it in an almost empty battle. Saw it falling, and while jumping got pushed to the right. I landed squat on the white wall, and then just kinda flopped onto the gold.

 

Other on my alt. Dropped in a slow battle. Found the zone early, and fought off an enemy so I wouldn't die early. Timed my driving, and the gold fell on me with literally nobody else touching me. Killed immediately after.

Yes, but don't forget, that there must be someone is enemy team (or another player, if it's DM mode) to complete ANY mission. So If you dropped it in a battle where you are alone, and take it, it won't count. Either wait for someone to join, invite your friend :) (Please, make sure, YOU will catch the box, and won't get rekt. :P)

This reminds me of when someone in the 2015 halloween map lagged through the gold box and the thunder killed everyone (including himself) at the same time and i just walked through them and took it.
