And a special thanks to Maf for dropping 3 golds in that battle, one which he took (cos you know, it was HIS gold), one that was taken by @Jwimmer by mistake (atleast thats what he said FFS), and one that those noobs left for me (btw thanks Maf for the push into the gold, really appreciate it)

need a suggestion: is any the new protection modules are good for gold? i am thinking about

3 situations: poly cp, long distance (be it highways long or sandbox type of pseudo-long)

and really short like arena or island. of course not 1 fits them all, suggest 2/3/4.. diff modules.

i have africa, clay and rock. (you read it right, no fire, smoky paint yet :( )

 

posting here hoping for some expert opinion. i want more golds, plzzzz adminiii.. :D

Kodiak Т-А (Thunder Railgun Firebird) Looks real good. It has protections from powerful/annoying weapons. I'm buying it on my alt in the sales.

Kodiak T-D (Thunder Railgun Freeze) An alternate choice to Kodiak T-A I mentioned. Depends on which you hate more, Freeze/Firebird. 

 

Badger T-G (The old Zeus) has never let me down when I needed it. Great for small maps. 

 

Giffion T-A (Railgun Thunder Shaft) Would be decent for maps like Lost Temple / Kungur etc.

 

 

Those are just some of my picks. Then again my playing style could be completely different to yours. Its up to you what you buy and what enemies annoy you the most. :)

IMO, one of the bext modules for long range is Railgun, Thunder and Smoky combination. The only turret, which can hurt you is shaft, which isn't the best for taking out campers, especially, if they have more ways to flee.

For your situation and needs, the "Zeus" module should be great for smaller battles. However, there's a difference inbetween a mid map gold hunting module, and a no-supplies mudule, which should be good for battles mainly, with the small positive of goldhunting.

Didn't post any picture since... Halloween??? I'm not sure. I've got many, but, why should I? :)

Luckily joined a battle, where a Russian player was dropping golds for his friends, probably schoolmates. After 2 golds with dictator they asked me to change, so I tried both hunter and hornet, caught a few of them also with these (1st golds with hornet M2). Total of 8 boxes captured. (13.11.2016, a month old :lol:)

Yes, thats why its such a versatile module. It protects Vulcan users from their biggest enemies yet still reduces the self-damage. Its also good for Polygon CP and other medium sized maps. Firebird might be becoming weaker but there are still plenty of them. :LOL:
