in lower ranks, i guess, the chance is better when you have say m3.5 against m2 or m3s. the situation changes completely for legends, where it is mostly m4s.

You'd be surprised, but no. Dictator M3 is like a wasp M0 if I just stand in middle and wait.

For anyone who's still playing and want to catch some golds - play dead maps ;) 10-15 players. Even in low rank battles there is about 1k fund in 15 minutes and usually one gold. Almost no cheaters are playing in those, and so if you have some skill you have a good chance of catching a few :)

First Gold in 2018, Finally container  :D. Took it in map with 4 players in it, while it was dropping 5th came.

Got 125 Double Damages (In 1st container from Black Friday I had 125 Speed Boosts)

Only 2 hours left but I can recommend playing on maps with max 8 players, 1-2 golds every round with bigger chance

This map is just a blessing for laggers. And it's even better for them with all the ramps. Also, lot of hackers. I reported 3 and then I gave up, boring.
 
On a single gold, 3 players used the same new hack. The tank starts to fly a little, then it spins in the air and catches the gold without touching it.
 
I got 15. I'm happy with that. 14 with Titan, 1 with Dictator. 2 Containers, 125DD and 125 DA. After the first few Golds, I just gave up trying and started to kill all the Dictators and hackers during Golds. Managed to grab some. In fact the map is not too bad if you drug like a mad person. Easy to finish first with Titan Twins.

honestly, this holiday dm is the worst maps i have played in a long time. i don't see ANY single player benefiting from playing here other the tanki company. no tactics, no skill. just get lucky and waste 2 dd and da per spawn. if you are lucky enough, you will get the goldbox. played for 20 minutes in here today morning, got disgusted after that. 10x gold is just a myth, the effective (chance of gold)/ (drugs and time used) is like 10% of normal chance :(

Apart the discount, it's probably one of the dumbest event ever in Tanki. I agree, it's the worst holiday map, maybe the worst map in all Tanki's history.

I have reported 2 so far, there is just too many... 

 

It goes like this, they start speeding up (pretty much speed hack but not as fast), then they glitch/teleport into the main pile under the gold drop zone but they are below everyone so you can't hit them or deal damage, then they jump up and do some mad flips taking the gold then dieing because of all the damage in the middle of the pile. 

 

Its basically 2-3 old hacks reworked and put into one massive one... The worst part is that all of it almost looks like lag, other than the flips.

Omg that's EXACTLY what I saw today! Some hacker with Red Suit (surprise surprise) took the gold *epicly* by flipping onto it. Although the gold wasn't near a ramp I thought he must've been lucky with a hammer. Then I saw him testing out the exact same move in a corner of the map.

Only way to deal damage to them is to use Fire or Freeze. And when they jump up, they go through the tanks and they always flip 2 or 3 tanks in the process.

The best way to deal with annoying golds is the Striker. For 10x golds this is how you get around 15 kills the first gold. The technique is to lock onto Titans and Mammoths, and at the last second salvo shoot all the players on the gold drop spot. You probably will not take the gold, but if you are raging, this is the best way to rage  :)  :)

Part of double gold, same battle.

 

 

Took 5 golds today but still this celebration was probably the worst I have ever experienced because of laggers and very high amount of hackers in low rank battles (and a few with Legend rank  :rolleyes:). Pretty felt like in April Fools 2015 when I was Warrant Officer and all golds were stolen by jump hackers. Seems like anticheat needs another update

Or Magnum with DD. I made loads of x3 kills, even x5.

 

The thing with Striker and Magnum is that only a few players (or even 0 sometimes) use protection. So it's very good.
