Then I decided to play until I take 10th gold of the event and had some dumb fails, such as fighting instead of going for gold in tunnel (on Year 2042) and capping point instead of going for gold in Aleksandrovsk, I was like 1 second late  :rolleyes:.

Well I played for around 2 hours during April Fools. Not because it was a bad event (could have been better) but because of my workload. Never the less, I still managed to take one April Fools Gold, or should I say 3?  :rolleyes:

It will take a while to get used to the distance at which you are safe to wait for gold, and where it's not safe. Also, I'm quite sure that over half of players will wait under dropzone anyway (tommorow).

If you'll watch the video, or any other, you'll notice a weird explosion impact, as if it was implosion instead. It's also taking down some health, so I wonder what the meteor actually does. It's like a giant magnum explosion? Or does it really just kill everyone within a radius.

Someone was making a gold rain, about 40 golds dropped in that battle.

My 2 teammates were killed be meteorite, I was lucky enough to survive with like 1% HP.

 

 

 

Also found out that Hornet/Fire is great combo for both catching the gold and being useful to your team even without drugs (mostly being 3rd-5th in battles)

Gold in base is huge advantage in Serpuhov, only teammates there (mostly).

 

 

Already 9 golds today and that makes it my 3rd best Gold day ever  :o and still few hours to improve it.

Not sure guys if you know this, but it's important to know from which side the meteorite is dropping. It gives you huge advantage against your opponents when gold drops because you will exactly know when to go for it and gain some starting speed (Took at least 5 golds with this trick, so I think it will help you all  :))

I guess I am, but maybe It was because I play ONLY CP mode with biggest funds which means highest drop chance. And it also sometimes drops after a gold when a pile is destroying each other. (If my calculations are correct, chance for gold to drop after any kill on Legend rank is 1% and that is pretty nice)

But it's so hard to take Golds with laggers that go under you, so they take the Gold. Speed hackers too.

Finally had some luck and the mechanism suits me with my hornet playstyle, if you get used to it you will succeed no matter what  :)

22 on alt, 2 or 3 on main? Not so bad, and the gold is supereasy in low rank battles, especially with M3 hornet against M1's :ph34r:

 

I guess everyone found out, that it's basically a huge magnum shell, with fixed damage and splash damage. Something like 10k dmg in middle. Also, any idea about the insane impact splash??? It usually completely turned me around, and I didn't find out yet how to counter it. Mostly what I did was just wait around, or get some speed before it lands, and then jump inside.

And of cours I noticed some speed hacks, which are not so obvious. I'm afraid if cheaters find out how to combine a right "mixture" of cheats, they will be even more annoying. Possibly something like speed+ignore+no recoil. :(
