I was in Stadium with Shaft and 2 Gold Boxes fell......IMO, that's the worst map to go Gold Hunting in. -_-

 

On a brighter note, I did catch this:

 

NOTE: You may wonder why I caught it when there is someone on top of me.....the truth is, I snapped the photo a bit late--after he climbed on me. :P

Stadium used to be one of the best for Gold hunting, till predictable drops came. It ruined almost all the maps, except Polygon. Its the only map which doesn't have only "1" side.

Stadium is still great, but you need fast hull e.g. wasp, and only wasp... (even hornet M3 is slow) You can get to any place of map if you see gold spawning in air, till it reaches ground. And with hammer/thunder/rail you can climb other tanks easy.

I use shaft wasp on stadium (random alt), and it was quite good, I just needed to hide 101% of time. + wasp can help you changing camp places fast. Unlike mammoth which can't move.

the gold was in the first level of the blue team,

the wasp went straight for it but a rial made him miss it by a milimeter,

then another rail finishhed hi off :p

^^ I would still use wasp than any other hull except for dictator, hunter, maybe hornet. But I need the wasp, cuz I often need to run to spot...

For me I would say Polygon is the only map where you actually can go for gold every time it drops . Other maps either its too far or not even approachable like in noise , or even in combe, so small map, so much time needed to check all positions

not really, going for gold is different from actually having a shot at getting it, like for example the gold at the small white building near big ramp, no way u can get gold unless u are either on top of building or at the highest peak with that small cave,  and damn unlucky spawn placements -_- , island and sandbox gold spots are always easily located

It happened me today: I found myself on mark with siren. not jump spot (me with viking), so some nub dictator got it.

however I got one gold, jump spot near center, but I didn't go from the popular side, however from other. Went up one titan, who went there soon, and noone lagged higher or got it before me :D

Got a pretty lucky gold. It was a double gold in Polygon CP. I found one symbol, and stuck to it. I was going to jump from the ramp, but two nugs shoved me off. One guy jumped on top of me. Luckily I swerved, and he fell off. Then, I lagged on top of a tank and took the gold. 

Look at my video's ping. Clearly the lag was not my fault, but the person underneath.
