I have a problem when I hunt gold boxes. If I am lucky enough, I only manage to collect just one gold box every week.

 

Can someone explain to me how to catch every gold box that drops? I need an expert gold box hunter player to explain to me how to collect every gold boxes that drop.

 

How did the Halloween first place player "Ti-To" managed to catch 195 gold boxes?

Ti-To was most likely playing for the whole day and got his friends to help him get gold boxes either in normal battles or in closed ones. They could have been playing a closed battle for the whole day where his friends simply give him all of the gold boxes.

Personally i feel tanki needs to stop trolling us at times. what is the point of giving gold box notification when battle ended? even though it ended and we got notification we should have had this drop in the beginning of next round, really disappointing to see the gold notification when we just ended.

I could be called a "Gold Expert", but seriously, not all you need is Dictator and make yourself lag everytime it drops. Since predictable drops there has been no skill in Gold hunting, just lag.

 

Also TI-TO, got help from his friends each Gold, plus 15 of his other friends played Wasp+Fire, once there was 20+ Golds in the game, he was invited, took them all, then left. It was repeated for 24hrs.

Do you have proof of your accusation? It is a serious accusation. Not something lightly thrown around.

I think I could call myself a gold hunter (ofc not on main, this account is just generalissimo).

 

Gold Hunting is a tricky sport. I doubt that Ti-To managed to catch 195 goldoxes in one day without help from his friends. Most likely he was in a private wasp fire game with a couple friends, who gave him every goldbox that dropped.

@S.C.Y.T.H.E wrote a pretty decent guide on how to successfully gold hunt. It is found here: Explained: Goldhunting. I would suggest taking a look at it. You can also ask questions like these at Advice from experienced players. I highly recommend watching Tanki youtube channels, particularly goldbox montage videos, as well. Watching tanki youtube videos significantly improved my Gold-taking skills.

I actually don't think it is possible to take the Goldbox 100% of the time. It would simply be impossible, as some maps are so large you can't possibly find all the drop zones. Even if you could, so much of taking golds comes down to luck.

The general strategies are to try to jump from the Goldbox from above, or try to climb on top of tanks using your impact force and ramps. If you can't do any of these, try to get directly underneath the Goldbox as it drops, but be careful of dying. Timing is crucial.

Dictator is the best hull since it is the tallest hull. It will take Goldboxes before other hulls, giving it a huge advantage in terms of taking Gold Boxes.

But, as this section is for ideas and suggestions alone, I believe it would be best for you to ask this question elsewhere.

Hard, not impossible. Yesterday I took 6 of of 6 and half seen. That half gold... error occured, refreshed page, but didn't log in for a half minute (afk). Then when I came, I spawned (Just camera spawn, so I couldn't see any marks on ground) and saw players all around me, waiting on upper ramp (polygon, near bridge)... Then saw shade <_ and then gold falling... spawned inside tanks so had to go of this pile materialize was late by... bit. i think did catch golds :p ofc that really rare have such luck nearly impossible especially with raising amount dropped.>

As for riddler's question: (from my point of view, as other players from over here already gave you great advice) Get dictator and MU it to full :D, so you will have advantage: faster and more HP. + dictator's height. It's great for earning insults getting more golds. Then... choose map on which you (it's) are more likely to get them... smaller, with higher and faster fund raising.

As for case "TiTo": He probably (we don't have any proof, it's just a conspiracy :D) have many friends who  helped him, and played wasp fire, etc... that was MAFIOSO said. Good luck :)

We are noobs just discussing golds not any pros.  :D  This is what's making "closed group" from us.

By the way, Gold boxes number 149 and 150 :wub: , both Polygon, both lucky  :lol:

And here with full health. My strategy is 100% here, you can use it when gold is falling there or near that place ;)   (everyone going from middle so they will die or they will be damaged I am going from my secret "bunker", place near the pipe or from middle of 2 small houses near middle)

And of course mission "Kills until Christmas" after day 3/37

Today I was at school for long time, so I was trying to save + counting. Results:

Kills after 3 days needed: 810            

Kills per day needed: 270

Kills today: 202 (-68)

Kills totally: 815 (+5)

Tomorrow is Friday and weekend after it, so I think that I will make better numbers. 

And of course ratings:

Experience earned: 9 613 (19 031) - I thought that I earned more  :huh:

Crystals earned: 9 472 (24 992)

Gold boxes caught: 2 542 (4) - "Pro" Gold hunter   :lol:

Well there is weekend incoming so I will see how much I get, plus I am quite lucky on missions, I get 2 - 3k crystals almost daily so I hope I´ll make it.

MU's now are even less worth it then what it was before. Its way more expensive now then what it was before, and 50 steps, each only does like +0.2 damage now. Hardly worth it on M2's now. :P

 

Good luck in getting 100K back in a month, you'll need to go Goldmode_ON. :P

Spleesh! It'll be easy. Only about 40 days until the sales. So, about 2.5 - 3k per day. + I got break in about 4 days, + the weekends, + Polygon CP. So it should be easy (I think).
