Aw, snap, sorry. I simply thought about it by myself while I was waiting for the bus that takes me to school a few days ago and I wrote it in Ideas&Suggestions, and I didn't actually check if somebody else suggested it. That was stupid on my part because I should of known that players will urge for crystals in every way they can, as sneaky as it needs in order to work.

There's no firm way of gettin' golds. I got about 25 golds in my whole Tanki "career", and they don't drop in certain times (in the past, they were dropped when the fund was 700 or the multiples of 700), but randomly. I already asked in a few different places in the forum what are the chances of a gold drop (1 to 1000, 1 to 2000, what?), and I didn't get an answer. I guess it uses a Server-System-Time based pseudo-random number, that by some algorithm calculates and "tries" the chances of a gold box drop. In summary - there's no way to know when a gold box drops, and even if you know the algorithm that decides if a gold will drop - you can't know when the algorithm will produce the value that will cause a gold box to drop.

Same here. And some friends told me too. Gold fell more oftne in the ramp of the blue side or in the middle on the other side, but not anymore at that place. Maybe it's an update of tanki staff, to make it more fair for everyone.
