M3s at m0 ranks... thanks microupgrades...

In case you want to say this is not true, what if I were WO3 with hunter thunder both m0, playing with my high-rank friend, in a battle where there is a buyer with thunder and viking both m2, with 50/50 microupgrades? Even worse, if he is drugging. Even worse, if he has 2 isidas behind him...

This sale, I'm buffing the following to M4

Titan

Smoky

Twins

Hammer

Thunder

Freeze will be slightly behind at 45/50, more depending on what crys I have left.

UPDATE-nope, not enough crys left to take Freeze to M4. MUs of my Modules tapped me out.

Overpriced. Not much discussion needed.

For M3-M4 upgrades, yes, it can take an extremely long time for a free player.

Otherwise, they're overpriced for a reason.

1) It discourages people from spending their crystals on it

2) It makes the big advantage they give a little rarer and gives Tanki the same profit as it is more expensive.

I'm not a free player, and they take an extremely long time. Another problem is the cost-affect ratio. The first 15 MUs on my smoky ran me around 70k on a sale, and gave a very nice difference. The next 5 were around 40k, and a bit less noticable. This most recent sale, I spent 25k cry and got a grand total of 2 MUs. A difference of 4 max and min damage, no reload difference. I didn't even realize the difference. It is not worth the other half of the MUs, but you kinda need them to compete for the top of the table. If they are expensive to discourage crystal spending on them, its not working. The advantage is not rare, as you will see most legends having atleast 1 M4 combo.

I was talking about the lower-modifications and their upgrades. Very rarely do you see a fully MU'd M2.

So where did all those Legends get their M4s? I find it hard to believe that most are buyers. It's definitely possible. And I agreed with you that upgrading to M4 takes too long and is too expensive.

You save up :p. It is expensive but as a legend if you enter a battle with m3 combo, it is harder to get a good score.

Overpriced. Not much discussion needed.

The price is ment to make full M4 combos rare and not even normal buyers can afford them. But as there are some real big (!!) buyers out there, you need something to offer for them to spend their money onto. Think of them like of a car from a premuim brand, like Ferrari.

You could call Ferrari cars overpriced.. but they sell :)

The only reason why so many M4 legens are out here, is the change in microupgrades, that Tanki introduced 1.5 years ago.

Are you serious? Well, im not doig all the way to M4... ill stop at like 25/50 or 35 for my favorite stuff then just save up for M3 on the rest of my stuff.... I feel like thats the best thing to do once you get gismo+

Actually you'd be better off saving up for supplies than having more M3s....unless your combo is particularly bad in certain maps (like if your main combo is xp/bp it'd be worth it getting Destroyer kit. ;) ).

True...but id rather have many many different turrets and hulls on a single account so i can use all of them when i feel like it/ when needed so i dont get bored. Plus, a person who has many different combos they are good with are usually better overall than someone else at M3+ with only 2 combos since they can do well in any kind of battle, short range or long, team or solo, flag sitting or attacking...etc...

What you say is imo more relevant to high-mid accounts where they fight other drugging M3s with at least 1 m2 item. I never drug - i only counter drug,  and i have never bought drugs in garage

(besides speed and mines. mines for stg and speed because i want the achievement in the profile pages for useing 10k speed :P

Does anyone know where the newest microupgrade charts are for the different turrets and hulls?

The mu chart listed on the wiki page seems off based on my comparison to my current mu level on turret and what the table states I should have.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

It's better to have a selection of M3 weapons, rather than one M4.

I regularly come into battles where a few people have 50% protection against smoky, which renders it useless. So I switch to something else.

Of course you can ignore this advice if you're a buyer...

I agree. The difference between M3 & M4 (turrets) is around 19%.  But that is offset by the protection module min of 35%.

being able to switch away from the protected weapon is important.

Plus MUs take sooooo long.  Baby steps.

To continue to compete we need to eventually MU, but that is not my highest priority. Almost have my "prodigy" module.

After that I can look at MU-ing my equipment further.

I guess. But the M4 is assured, whereas the presence of multiple enemies with high protection against your turret is not. If so you can always find another battle, if you look at it that way.

True.

But using same turret for every battle can get boring.  And mid/long range weapons don't always adapt so well to the smaller maps.

Having two M3s before hardcore MU-ing gives some flexibility.

Hmm using m3 playing against m4 is a big disadvantage. It is just like a m2 playing vs m3

Well, im able to hold up ok against M3 teams. I also used to have a gismo that had only M3s (this was before Legend update) and i did pretty well using M3 Hornet. Of course, usually id get oneshotted by druggers that had anything more powerful than thunder :P

But sometimes if you do really well in a battle, but then start losing badly bc your combo is bad against the other team, you could get alot of bad rep from people who are thinking your just a rage quitter :P

Thats my problem mostly. I refuse to leave almost any battle even if it is fill with drugging M3+ and i only have M2 because i hate being called noob :P
