Shouldn't the general case be to only use micro-upgrades if you are going to get more return on your investment than you spend on the microupgrade for the duration of its use?

Saying this, if someone plays TO for 16 hours a day, it may make sense to do a certain MU, but for another who plays 2 hours a day, the same MU may make no sense.

Anyhow, I think it's always better to MU your skill if at all possible.

In my opinion, I enjoy the idea of MUing items.  For example, if I fully Micro-Upgrade Tundra, I have no reason to buy progidi or digital.  Then there is rank gaps in equipment.  For example, Titan and Smoky have 15-14 ranks in between M1 and M2 stage.  MUs help keep them playable.

Ill be mu'ing my smoky and twins max damage in prep for m3

NEVER EVER MU a turret or hull if it isn't M3. Trust me you want to save those crystals to buy other turrets and hulls or MU your m3 turret and hull. Believe me from personal experience. I blew off 70K crystals MUing my m1 Isida  -_-  in hopes that it would greatly lower the cost to get m2 isida. Not only did it not improve my gameplay too much but only lowered the m2 price by like 15k, which is nothing compared to the 70k i spent. Not only that, but the price only goes down when you fully upgrade a parameter, which commands a very high price. Trust me DON'T MU if it isn't m3.

If i continue mu, i will finish hornet and railgun upgrades,1st: i will enjoy game much more,

2th: i will get more chance to win ..

i always have the best combo at  m0 stage

If you are going to MU your hornet railgun combo, only MU it 3-4 steps and nothing more. It costs too much, won't lower m1 or m2 or m3 price, and once you get into the next into the m1-m2-m3 battle stage, you're combo will begin to be one of the weaker tanks in the crowd. Trust me you want to wait to MU your weapons once they reach m3. I had to learn the hard way :( .

Paints are great to MU especially the later m3 paints that can allow you to have 50% protection to 1-3 different turrets. However, don't MU turrets or hulls until they are M3. At max, they only reach around 70% effectiveness of the next upgrade, so once you start to see weapons of a higher grade, you're combo may become weak again. Instead, with those crystals, you should try to save up and buy more turrets and hulls to provide a diversity of game play, get more paints, and save for the next upgrade.

Hope i helped :)

I disagree.  One or two MUs on each of the parameters improves gameplay.  Just saying.  :)

Yes 1-2 but that's it. I'm just trying to tell players that too much MUing can be a bad thing. I don't want players to make the same mistake I made with my isida m1 :(
