Before i reach field marshal i will have all of these

Smoky m3, isida m3, hammer m3

Is it worth getting twins or vulcan?

Also is it worth micro upgrading twins/vulcan/smoky?

With the upcoming change in micro-upgrades, they become of more value, so if it made sense to micro-upgrade halfway before, it will now make sense to micro-upgrade 2/3 of the way, but it is still not worth fully micro-upgrading a non-M3 piece of equipment to get the next M class.

Ricochet and Dictator M2 have the longest stretch, from to and , respectively, so it is necessary to micro-upgrade them if you want to use them all the way through or you will be facing with equipment, that is 12 ranks apart..

Let's see how much it takes to fully micro-upgrade them to M3 (without speed up and with no discounts):

Ricochet M2: 151,260 damage + 100,841 impact force + 75,629 reloading + 100,840 rotation speed + 50,420 range = 478,990 crystals total.

M3 price is 252,100.

Dictator M2: 111,500 protection + 89,200 speed + 111,500 turning speed + 44,600 weight + 89,200 power = 446,000 crystals total.

M3 price is 223,000.

It may make sense to pay 226,000 to get an M3 Ricochet 1 year early (if you have that kind of money :)). If you think so, do your micro-upgrades as early as possible and start with what makes most sense, which is usually damage and range for turrets and protection and speed for hulls.

Good luck!

You need a few ranks to be able to do that, but it is very doable by . Also, you do not have to micro-upgrade everything at the same time. You can benefit from discounts too.

I'm thinking of throwing 100k into MUing future M2 Dic-rico combo. What's the best way to MU them? Like maybe 1/4 Damage and 1/4 reload..etc.

Don't do reload. It's negligible. Start with damage and range, then turning speed. Leave reload till the end. For Dictator, start with protection, then speed, then power, then weight..Leave turning speed to the end or MU it with those.

So this means third lieutenants can run around with freeze m3's and colonels with ricochets m3's, problem is you would have to pay well over triple the price without discounts for that to happen, but on the bright side my smoky will be 25% more powerful, and more similiar to m3's

It's not really triple the cost. It is actually double or less, and that is without discounts. You already have M2 to be able to do that. If you take advantage of discounts, it may go down to 50% over the price or even less. Remember that you have time to recover the cost and make a lot of profit (or avoid loss if many people do that).

I got the Medic Kit. I went down to 2K and some change after getting it. I have already recovered 4K within an hour or so, including a gold box in Arena.

It's so easy to get exp or score with it. However, any upgrade takes several hours, so I will start working on them at night. Maybe get the first steps before the sale, or do you think I should wait?

Maybe I'll throw a couple of thousand for MUs, so I can do bigger ones that will take longer during the sale.

My son was hopeless of being able to get the Medic Kit since he was at 150k of 160k when it came up, but he's caught up. He is now at 250k. He only needs the rank-up bonus. He is 15k points away from that. I think he'll afford it before then!

Without discounts it would cost well over triple the cost if you were taking m2 to m3 if you were going to do every single parameter, that is not including speed ups, with speed ups it would be more expensive

With discounts it would be double or less, im not talking about 50% or 25% on turrets, because you would still have to fully complete a parameter to add that percentage to the discount, and that is still double or less of the original price

To me it is worth it, however

Can you give an example on the triple cost? The math I showed above does not substantiate your claim.

I guess this is common knowledge, but my m0 rail has a 22% discount.At a 50% sale,will m1 cost 72% of 30k,or 50 % of 24k(22% of 30 k).

You multiply, not add. So, you should get a discount of 22% on the current sale price (which would be %50 of the full price if you get it at a 50% sale). That is basically 0.5 * 0.78 = 61% off.

Oh,I get it now- thanks so much, that question's been bugging me lately.

I have a question for those who found a good (least expensive way) to fully MU something.

For Rico M2, the total delay to fully upgrade every parameter is 50 days. If you want those 50 days to coincide with sales, you need years. So, obviously, you need to pay the full price most of the time. Now, someone would say but they also have a speedup sale. For the first 10 steps at 25% and 80% sale, you don't break even, so you better off either do those without speedup or do them at full price. After step 10, you start to break even if you buy every step with its speedup. That means that you are not really getting anything out of the sale except bringing the 50 days down to 1 or 3 days if you lucked with a sale just after you bought it.

At 50% and 90% sale, you save about 40%, so you end up paying the full price of M3 and getting it early.

It seems to me that if you get the money by Tanki BD, go crazy on instantly upgrading whatever you can afford. Start with what matters most. For the current sale, don't buy speedups. It cancels out the discount.

About the first 10 steps, do you mean any parameter of the weapon?
