How can fullscreen help?? Fullscreen will require more CPU (or GPU) usage, no?

Try it first , also you can reduce the game viewing area even in full screen with the +/-to lower GPU strain

First - I don't have a GPU. That's why my FPS highest level ever was 15. Second, I don't use Chrome at all - I use a Standalone Flash Player.

All computers have a graphics card of some sort under the heading of Display adapter in Device Manager, it might be a built in using shared ram, in that case look at increasing your ram on your system, it might help.

It is obvious something is wrong after this new update, even I too have lag/ sluggish, mostly in Silence ( other maps are fine) when it is full of players, usually never experience this before like I get smooth gameplay and good framerates. I also did testing CP to see the new maps like silence ( it was full of players too) on test server before this update, it was smooth but now on this actual server is very sluggish. I did everything from clearing cache to set up graphic setting, etc, etc and still no improvements or got rid of lag. Oh and my PING is good enough, around 103.

There are many things that you can do, from basic things like removing all the saved tabs on your browser and clearing history, and clearing your cache, optimize your system for performance in settings, stop other programs from running updates while playing, reinstalling flashplayer, set AVS to gaming mode, also making sure all drivers are up to date and if you have a GPU with custom settings available set them up for performance, and play around with setting in game turn off automatic graphics quality and only check anti aliasing, add others as you can and see what you can play with on. and also make sure you are the only one on the router or modem using your internet connection, turn off any tablets or cellphones that may be connected. you can also check with your provider if you are getting the max available, very often if they get signal faults they reduce your speed from the max available, but they can reset it if you ask.

There is also the great possibility that your system is infected with malware, trojans, worms, etc, many AVS miss these things and they can damage many key areas of your operating system and cause your system to perform poorly in which case you need to back up all your important files and do a clean install of your operating system

Lets face it if these things don't help, you need a better system and/or a better internet provider

I saw the F11 thing, that cannot be a permanent solution, also, it does not fix lags, only jitter, and even so it is still too jittery.

 

Hundreds of people are seeing lags, loads have complained here, I really do think you should scrap the widening of maps, it is obviously to do with that update, not the CP, but map widening, if you can't fix it, ditch it.  it is highly frustrating being with this epic holiday, and not being able to play.

 

Also, for linux users, we cannot use another browser for tanki because 3d acceleration is NOT possible on them.

Thanks Tanki because of this update I cant play anymore :( I cant log in it just wont load! I would like to tell you Tanki it might not be your fault but I think it is, I was playing perfectly then after the server update I pressed FIGHT! All that happened was it loaded then at the last inch of the bar it loaded for ages. I thought maybe just leave it over night. So I did and when I came back in the morning it was still loading! I give up. Tanki I had a wonder full time playing you but now I cant unless I use a different computer. Bye Bye Tanki Online I might be back soon have a happy birth day :) :(

My computer sometimes does this. It proboably means that your internet/ computer has stopped working or it is running slowly. sry about that.
