Спасибо/спс (spasibo)     - Thank you.

Its handy seeing as there are lots of Russian players, just put a 'cnc' in chat after someone helped you and everyone will likely understand it.

How do you pronounce Russian words

Hi guys, since most of us here didn't know the russian language, and maybe even its letters,

we face everyday a russian words in the chat and for sure we don't know how to read it.. but I think everyone tired to pronounce it with his way!

So I will start with most words that I face from my playing in Tanki

Maybe you wonder what?? how I came with this weird idea meaningless idea, lol

btw I will start personally

нуб -- Haytt

мир -- Mnp

го -- Ro

Стоп -- Cton

ДД -- a a

танки Онлайн -- Tahken Online

and yeah tell us what about you

I'm not sure what you're trying to do there, but it's definitely not pronounciations. Actually, most of the words you mentioned are just English words, which made its way into Russian "tanki lingo" and are being written using cyrillic letters.

So from top to bottom:
Noob
Mir
Go
Stop
DD

I see those words a lot in the Chat, and cuz I don't know Russian letters so I try to simulate it with the Latin alphabet,

Btw, I learned Russian letters before some months, I forgot a lot of them now, also my pronounciation is really bad.

Yes, That's it. Thank you for writing the true pronounce of those words, I know approximately most of them, but maybe until now I still pronounce it with my wrong reading.

the first one is pronounced "nub" not "noob"

H = N, Y = U, 6 = B

Well, not to be pedantic, but the U could be mistaken for an "uh" sound, which is not the case here. So "oo" is closer to the truth.

what is mir ?

'Mir' translates to 'peace'. Basically, a "no kill" agreement amongst some tankers – usually when a gold box is dropping.

Someone report a mult in Violations section, but Cartoon?!!

WellI have noticed when you translate "Mult" to Russian, then you revert the translation into English, it will be Cartoon.
