Only reason people complained was cause of jealousy... Tanki surrendered and the kit will be cheaper now. Which is fine by me cause means I won't need to spend cry, il also expect to see a load of them as it will be cheaper, will be the same people complaining that is too easy to get. Just my opinion.

Good point there- I forgot about MU's. I just hope my rail M3 will be able to flip them in silence ctfs then when theyre drugging :S

Kits will have lower prices but higher rank to unlock, I caught that in russian forum. For example, Medium kit will be avaiable at Marshal and will cost 400k crys. Damn this forum should be updated as the Russian one....  <_<

A part of Tanki 's success IS the ranking system and with it the ability to get better upgrades.

Simple and effective economics at the risk to be going down the drain.

 

Tanki Online (Alternativa) should better stay a slow and steady growing, but above all a stable company,

which provides good jobs for their employees for many more years.

 

If the company goes on to be only focused on the buyers, they will surely earn a lot in a short time.

Just as short as in my view all these brilliant employees will still have their jobs and we our great game!

To the first point, I'm not trying to get a reaction I am merely stating an opinion however wrong or right it's called a forum for a reason.

 

Secondly, I'm more irritated at the fact that they gave a false hope of a kit that good at such a rank, however intentional or unintentional it was time and a little bit of money was wasted on my part getting enough for the kit which was later withdrawn till a later date without any other real alternative of a kit.

 

In general I think the statement expressed by Semyon is slightly contradictory, I find it amusing that they need people to complain to realise the kit was OP (Yea il agree it is). It's almost as if they were expecting the majority of people to like the kits (quite obviously isn't the case I can't even see a kit OP with a positive score more than 5).

 

I would also llike to say, that although the rank will be higher, the prices will be lowered quite a bit. So both ways you'll see a lot of these kits. The statement semyon made, in my opinion doesn't add up.

 

Yea, btw I'm trying not to argue ok this guy seems smart enough to talk to and has made fair points ^_^

Why always the animosity towards people who are willing to pay for a game they enjoy?

 

I work hard for my money and do not have the option to be playing here 10 hours a day to rank up and get free crystals like some couch potatoes (hence my little alternate account)  because I have commitments, so wheres the fairness for me?

Yes the game is free to play but I am quite certain that tanki is not a charity, that its employee's are not turning up each day out of the goodness of their heart, it is a business, it pays salaries, it pays bills to keep those servers running. 

 

No mater how great a tanki player you think you are or how blessed we should all feel to have your company if the money stops rolling in then the game STOPS! 

 

Instead of moaning and complaining about the people who pay maybe you should just say thank you to them for subsidizing your play time.

 

I'm just tired of hearing about the big evil people who pay money when we are the very ones keeping the game going.

 

Just like real life, you can buy the best sports equipment out there but if you are crap then money aint going to change that, you will still fall short when facing people with skill.

 

lot of complaining going on about fire and rico being too strong, you play a map like stadium or serpuhov against a person with shaft or rail   ( that can use them) and see how strong your fire or rico is then. Different weapons have different strengths depending on map and other teams weapon choices. There is strategy to this game and if you are the type that goes out and runs into everyone with your fire button held down then sure you will get frustrated time and time again when you meet people with a little bit of skill. You see a rico or firebird then they should be your first priority to take out, don't let them get close!

^ Railgun is a good Turret, and I like it, but looks to me as though it's a bit hard to fight Ricochet with it - Ricochet became Super-Overpowered since the Rebalance.

Maybe you were referring to me as well, but I certainly don 't think this game would exist without buyers!

 

My point is that we need both! Don 't forget that non-buyers are potentially buyers.

That 's the strength of a free game like Tanki.

Easy and free to start and along the way many players find themselves longing for a better upgrade.

So they buy it and there 's nothing wrong with that.

 

We as players should not define the rank-limits of what we can buy.

Many sergeants with enough money would even buy that new medium M3 kit if it was made available to them!

That 's so wrong in so many ways I don 't even get started.

 

The same counts if you lower the rank-limits that much, that a Brigadier already can get that OP medium M3 kit.

It would definitely spoil the gameplay for the vast majority.

 

No, it is Tanki Online who has to set the right rank-limits for these kits and they kept making them lower each time.

With this mistake in my view as a result.

 

I understand kits have to contain a rank-benefit so people want it, but really never that much!

Hopefully this moment will be used to reverse or at least stop this continuously lowering of the rank-limits.

It is wrong and devastating for the game.

 

So if people want to spend money on the game that 's totally fine with me. I will also do that in due time.

The Price limits are a factor, but they are by far less important than the Rank limits!

Just a guess but its what I've heard the Russians said it would be, it doesn''t make sense does it and I reckon it will come back to bite them but they allowed it on themselves. Like you claim to want balanced games so raise the rank fair enough whatever, then you lower the price so more people can buy it which is what you wanted to avoid in the first place (less games "ruined") ... Hardly logical, then again I may be wrong.

Agreed and I think buyers may still have the ability to get some 'extras'. If anyone cares about kits, it always means they can not buy. If you have enough skills, you shouldn't care about this, a buyer can have a little bit better stuff, but he can not buy skills. It was super awesome by the way it was, sad non-buyers will ruin it always. Anyway, I can't care, buyers are pawning anyway, unless they forgot to micro upgrade their skills :lol:
