Changes in Product Kits

Not at commander, both Fire M3 and M3 hunter are available at that rank or before. I thought kits where made to get things before the unlock in garage, now there is no point in this new kit. It should have been marshal or general because think about it at  general you can get M3 Mammoth and M3 twins, and that's not unfair? This change was a bad choice, now buyers or long time savers might as well just buy M3 fire or M3 hunter without the kit, I am VERY disappointed.

I agree with this 100%, I hope Semyon will read our feedback and discuss also this with the marketing team or who ever are thinking about this section of the game. No, they do not have to change it again. Yes, I hope they will use this with upcomming decisions of new kits.

Mixed feelings about this decision, but mostly positive.

 

In my view they have given a clear sign that Tanki Online doesn 't only care about the buyers.

This is really the first time I know of.

"They always listen to the non-buyers": well if that 's the truth, I really would like someone to

present a list with all the times Tanki Online did that. :rolleyes:

 

In my view it was exactly the opposite, certainly lately.

The buyers get all kinds of truly benificial produkt kits and also supplies can be obtained

with a possible whopping 70% discount.

Not on special occassions: no every day.

So how does Tanki Online not care about the buyers?

 

And for the most part I understood it.

Tanki Online is not about welfare and needs income.

For the company itself, the employees and for the further development of the game!

 

You have plenty of short-sighted Tankers on both sides and I certainly don 't appreciate

the kind of non-buyer who think buyers are some sort of low life.

Without them you wouldn 't even have this game, stupid!

 

 

Especially with the new medium M3 kit they were really entering dangerous "unknown territory".

Already available at Brigadier it would have been tremendously popular, no doubt!

Everyone with some fantasy and IQ can imagine what happens next if such a

massive overpowered combo would be set loose on those "around-Brig-level-battles"

where the majority has only M2 equipment.

 

To make things worse: those awesome paints, Clay in particular

besides the not disappearing M3 microupgrades and possible supplies.

Most Tankers, myself included enjoy a bit of overpoweredness,

but at the moment I can crush all my opponents like flies, even if they

got clearly more skills than I have: the fun quickly disappears.

 

Even more so if you have to play "the crushed fly" part ofcourse...

In short, the battles would become even more unbalanced like they

many times already are in my view.

 

This all could certainly lead to players leaving this game and who would not

promote it amongst their friends.

That 's why this game is expanding: it 's free, it delivers and pleased players

tell their friends about it!

(and so called "non-buyers" often do buy a tiny bit or do become buyers later on)

 

 

Well now this medium M3 kit got "nerfed".

To an extend that I simply can 't follow.

First it was available at Brigadier and now an almost incredible SIX ranks further at Commander?

 

Personally I thought they settled it at Marshal, which would be more in par with the other kits.

 

Now there 's no real point in buying it anymore.

Only if you really want that combo it 's still worthwhile.

 

Tanki Online itself seems to be also looking for some balance.

Really hope they find it soon!

He made 78k crystals in 3 days ready for a sale, it just takes discipline. Heck, I even know of someone who is about to buy light m3 purely from saving. If they want BAlANCE they should look directly at the turrets and hulls, putting kits at a ridiculous rank away doesn't allow balance. It just allows less money and less challenge.

 

Kit owners are suddenly your best friends if they're on your team, yet are treated as cheats and alienated if they are not. Yet people only seem to remember the bad times... It's funny cause I'm not lying.

"helps win" ofc,they're fully drugged 24/7,try to beat that stuff. I've seen a mammy twins m3 with zeus beat down a team of 8 people by himself and capture the flag too

@UAV I don't know what your point is anymore, you're on the brink of flaming so I'l just stop responding to you (that is unless something hilarious is said). 

 

I hope devs actually learn from the mistakes.  It will hit them hard in the sales, they've more or less removed a kit for M3's as an attempt for "balance" I'm sure this won't last long.

Maybe I haven 't been clear, or you misread parts of my post: I have no problem with the produkt kits as they are!

(the heavy M3 kit is a bit too much in my view, but the combo moves quite slow: so enough ways to defeat it)

 

The kits can also be obtained by non-buyers, a challenging path but possible.

A friend of my has already earned an in my view astounding well over 200k by just playing.

Even while he micro-upgraded big parts of his M2-combo and Corrosion completely.

 

The problem I had was with the ridiculous Brigadier limit of that medium M3 kit!

 

You see a "challenge" in such a kit if I read your post well.

I simply don 't get that and the vast majority who would have met such a combo at those ranks

wouldn 't get it either IMO!

 

I thought this kit, as I clearly wrote, would be fair at the Marshal rank.

It would still be bought a lot, because it would be as beneficial as all the other kits are!

Yes I would have to agree with MrTactics, people do tend to remember the times where a drugged buyer has taken funds from them rather than helped them xD me for one hahaha

Kits are great, I think they are affordable for anyone- I don't buy, but i have never been short on crystals and in need of buying... Kits simply benefit those people who can save well enough and spend wisely enough really. It's not just me, many of us have saved and bought kits without buying.

I think people make the wrong connection between kits and buyers. Kits being good doesn't mean that buyers suddenly have some huge advantage. They have that advantage of course because they buy, not because there are these kits- because they are available for everyone.

 

I think at brigadier it was ridiculous- im pretty sure in this case, only buyers (or maybe a select few) would be able to afford a 500k kit, so I'm glad it's rank was increased and it was made more affordable. I'm a little disappointed that this kit has been moved up to commander, I reckon I may have been able to kit 450k by general/marshal ranks.

It's good they changed it , a drugging m2 firebird is already deadly , i can't imagine Brigadiers with Firebird M3.

And Hunter is ofcourse awesome.

So the summary here, is that whoevers idea it was to make this new medium m3 kit has literally moved between both extremities. Not only this but it's been masked under the saying of making things balanced (almost gave the impression he was saying kits are bad) , and also hasn't been thought through for everyone because there wasn't even an alternative kit made available. It's quite clear there will probably be less purchases and I hope whoevers idea it was learns that you can't please the majority by going to both extremities, it doesn't work like that. Personally I think the kit should have been General rank and if not, an alternative M3 kit could be provided for lower ranks (gives us something to buy at least) , they failed to do either. My Opinion.
