I think medium M3 should be unlocked earlier but not at brigadier. IMO it should be unlocked at Marshal. The point of buying kits instead of the other way is too get goods before they're available at your rank but the only thing that you get before it's available at your rank is Clay.

it used to be. but Tanki seem to have recently figured out that the only kits that should let players get early unlocks are the bundle kits (turret kits, hulls kits, paint kits), not the single-combo kits (such as Medium Tank, Light Tank, Heavy Tank kits).

now, the only reason to buy single-combo kits will be for the discount and modification-skipping (getting M1-3s without buying even the M0).

I am with u on that eragon I mean kits are for getting overpowered stuff at ur rank but this kit is too much overpowered I dont think a full team will not be able to handle a m3 firebird at matches with rank limit Brigadier if the kit owner  uses supplies.

I saw how the heavy m3 kit in matches with lieutenant general as limit tips off the balance fully.

This kit will make the situation worse, it should be unlocked at general like the previous hunter kit which makes the paint inferno available to a non kit player.

I use light m3 kit myself and find it is too easy to get kills at my rank.

I don't fully agree with u but it should be unlocked at general or at least at lieutenant general rank when the fire defense inferno becomes available by rank. This is like handing out m2 stuff at warrant officer rank.

Too much overpowered kit will tip off the balance if the buyer becomes an one man army.

If the non kit buyers aren't able to play the popularity of the game will decrease for sure.

If fire m3 becomes available at such low rank there should be another kit  to counter it like "paint kit m3" with fire defense paint at the same rank the kit unlocks.

One of the major drawback of the kit is it lacks a fire defense paint and has a way too common paint prodigi.

clay with full mu acts better than prodigi.

Who are with me on this opinion ??

Besides, you're probably just mad that the M3 medium kit will be no longer available at your rank, and that the developers' decision got swayed by the majority of players who have the decency to avoid spending actual money on an internet game.

Another update for kits is coming, and for this one we have listened very closely to your feedback. As always, the new kits will replace the least popular of the old ones. Here is what will change.

 

Several existing kits will be removed from the game. These are; Light Tanki M1 (Wasp + Firebird), Medium Tank M3 (Hunter + Smoky), as well as M1 and M2 Paint Kits. They will be replaced with two new paint kits as well as M1 Medium Tank, M1 light Tank and M3 Medium Tank kits.

 

The changes will be applied on June 16. If you were planning on buying any of the kits that will soon be removed, you should do this now!

 

Here are detailed descriptions of the new kits.

 

 

Medium Tank M1

Price: 59 990

Available from Warrant Officer 3 to First Lieutenant

Hull: Dictator М1

Turret: Railgun М1

This is Crazy..! I see 3rd lieutenant's with m2 viking and m2 freeze kicking everyone's butt and killing Major's easily... This isn't fair <_< -_- :angry: .. I wish they could take Kit's off of  Tanki Online and leave it that way.. at least ppl would be playing fair.. -_-  and especially those kit's cost way to much cry it's Madness.. the only way you could at least get one of those kit's is be on Tanki Online 24/7 or waste 100 dollar's worth of money for cry.. <_<  and all the kit's are crappy.. Tanki Online need's to make a lot of more update's till there gonna see me spending  money on cry.. <_<

Just to let you know, I've never bought crystals, but I had enough to buy the m2 heavy kit. You just need to be patient and spend wisely and you can afford one.

At commander now so pretty much a useless kit, the funny thing is they're making more of them so expect many more "humble" kits. Also much cheaper so no need to buy anymore, wonder where there new source of money will come. Edited June 12, 2014 by MrTactics

It is interesting that the new M3 kit has stirred up so much controversy when first presented as obtainable at the Brigadier level. Although I empathize with the opinion that Brigadier was too low a rank for something like the Clay paint; the revised level seems an over correction due to early feedback that cannot be representative of the entire membership (approximately 390,280 in the forum list). A vocal minority does not necessarily have the right argument because they submitted their opinion earlier or louder.

Considering these kits are discounted; presume that the Marketing department (Forum topic: How Discounts are Designed) have carried out the analysis of the entire membership base to come up with the offers. The argument here is that this team has delivered offers consistently and successfully on a monthly basis. The measure of success is based on Tanki Online being still in business since 2009 as opposed the self-centered viewpoint that something cannot be successful if they did not buy. Given that Marketing have years of proven experience and have analyzed the entire membership vs. about 100 opinions; the former should be making business decisions that affect Tanki Online. I am not stating that feedback from actual players should not be taken into account, just weighted appropriately that their opinion alone does not sway a methodically planned sales offering to bring in revenue into no sale.

It is not yet proven that nobody will buy the new Medium tank M3 kit, but I for one will not be interested. Firebird M3 can be acquired on its own at the rank of Commander without buying extra items in the package that might be redundant or not wanted. In addition, Hornet M3 and the Prodigi paint are available at the earlier rank of Fieldmarshal and Marshall, respectively. I enjoy playing Tanki Online so happy to buy and contribute to the continued existence of the game. Rounding out the argument, Semyon Kirov, unless you are happy to work for no pay, allow Marketing & Sales to bring in the revenue. When taking opinions on the product kits or other offers please bear in mind that arguments of what is balanced, over-powered, expensive, etc. are mute when there is no more Tanki Online.
