I know that this topic is going to be closed soon, and i am gonna be banned.

But i must share my frustration. Here is the problem.

Mods these days close every single topic they think relates to a topic that was created 5 years ago.

Sometimes, they even close good topics, by giving a stupid reason.

I am not applying this to all mods, only some mods, i am not gonna call out the names.

But sirously, you guys need to chill a bit, and stop closing every topic. Not every Topic is going to be like POTD.

Man, i really miss the old Mods. They didn't close every single topic, did not ban every single troll, the forum was alive and healthy.

Now its just plain dead.

Yeah, I know, one MOD is going to close this topic in just 5 seconds or something, but i hope this gets the message out.

Exactly, but we also close topics which are similar/identic to those made previously. Before closing a topic we always check if it is the case to close it or not, in fact if we close a topic we give valid reasons for doing so.

 

An example? Creating a topic about a "Story Game" will be closed since there is already one opened, thus a dupe is not needed.

There are no stupid reasons to close topics, in fact if that was the case we simply won't close them at all, if we don't have valid reasons.

 

Do you miss old Mods? You probably didn't notice that actual Mods are almost all those "old" Mods (Example? I'm BarbaFenner89, simply changed nickname, I've always been the same since 3 years of Game and almost 2 years of Staff, same goes for other 4-5 Forum Moderators and some Chat Moderators and Consultants).

 

For what concern trollers: Staff will always ban them, trolling is forbidden and trollers won't be left free. Making jokes and nice things is a thing, but trolling the way you and other trollers mean is not allowed.

 

In conclusion, I would like to remember to you that public discussions of Moderators' and Administrators' actions are forbidden and that hiding your main account using an alternative account won't really help your cause to spread around.
