Most likely, there will be some random sales during the world cup and the paint cost 100 crystals each so you don't actually lose anything if you buy a paint and don't buy anything during the world cup.

Tbh, this is a bad event. Though this is basically a 50% you waste a crapload of crystals if your team doesn't win.

For example, you chose Brazil and your team won the world cup. All the items you bought during June 13 until July 12, you'll get refunded 50% of those. So, if you bought M2 Thunder during June 13 upto July 12 for 100K, you'll get 50K crystals back.
