Missing crystals from my account after purchasing micro-upgrades...

I have recently started purchasing and using micro upgrades. Still not sure of many details of how and how long they work or last but I have noticed the last couple of upgrade purchases for various amounts with no single upgrade costing more than 10,000 maybe 12,000 crystals. Problem  I am experiencing is that my balance of crystals is substantially reduced, way more than what I thought I was using to purchase the upgrade???????? In no way have I ever even remotely given anyone other than tanki reps access or password to my account. I anmtalking about 175,000 to 200,000 crystals or more that has disappeared from my account!!!!!!!

Did you use speed ups?  Or did you actually let the Micro-Upgrade take time to complete?

hello green terrorist and thanks for responding. I must admit I do not fully understand how the MUs work, especially the cost, cost when when using the speed up option. I was / am not aware that there is a waiting period and may cost more. How long do you have to wait and how long does the upgrade last. I saw some info in the forum but not pertaining to these specific questions.

Depends, each level takes an amount of time, and the speed up becomes more and more expensive

Here is how MU's work.

 

Obviously, MU's cost crystals.  You spend the crystals for the MU, and you can either:

- wait for the MU to finish

- or speed up the MU's immediately, at the cost of more crystals.

 

Here is a demonstration:

 

As you can see, I am upgrading my Flora paint.

 

 

As you already know, the price is on the button.  When you move your cursor over the button, the amount of time it will take for the MU to complete will appear on the right side of the perimeter you are upgrading.  In this case it is 5 minutes.

 

 

Once you start the MU, the timer will start.  However, you can speed up the MU immediately, but at the same time spend more crystals.  The price of the speed-up will be where the price of the MU was, except the button will be orange.

 

 

In this case, the speed-up will cost 109 crystals.

 

 

Speed-ups can be very expensive, especially for items our rank.  In many cases they are more expensive than the MU's themselves.  It is best not to use speed-ups, that way, you will save a lot of crystals.
