What do you know about Russia and Russians?

It, you are right. There's no communism in USSR, there was a socialism. But that socialism was not like in Sweden, we haven't market economy (which was good, IMHO) and some other things. Political struggle is only political. And politicians inspired people of one country to hate people of other country. It's still the same, as we saw in Lithuanian guy.

There was some good things in USSR, there was some bad things there. The same I can say about Russian Federation. And I think everyone can say the same about his country.

By the way, there are some stereotypes about people from USA, about some European nations.

How is your access to goods/commodities...electronic equipment' date=' automobiles, movie theaters, groceries, etc?? [/quote']

Now or then? And please delete the movie theaters from the list, this feature is mostly American.

In USSR and in RF we have/had an access to all the things we really need in life. And those who wish for more - if they really wish for it, they can get it. In USSR we had free (and good) education, even high education, health care, we were guaranteed that. There was free kindergartens, free schools and universities, free hospitals. If you had work, if you was good citizen, all was guaranteed. Yes, you couldn't go on the sea every vacation (if you wasn't live near the sea), you couldn't eat in restaurants every day, but I think not many people in other countries can afford such things.

In Russian Federation... I must fight for everything in my life, nothing is guaranteed. And even burial is very expensive thing. So I don't get the benefits of market economy, of business' world and so on. 'Cause normal business in Russia is a myth.

Sorry for my russian, this joke only valid in this language:

I do have a question.

Is Russia Allies with US?

Because they have a very powerful Nuclear weapons...

They are not. They wanna be a partners, becouse every of this country can make problems for other, but IMHO there is no way be an ally with due to agressive foreign policy US

btw there are a lot of countries with nuclear weapon, not so big reserve as US or Russia has, but enough for epic win with no survive humans
