There was a player who follower my guide to the T, CHAMPION unfortunately he didn't follow Tankionline rules either and has now ended up in the same boat as you, He was a shining  star in the tournament circuit too  :(

You have just created your guide today, I've never followed your guide or even heard about it, because it didn't even exist, please, don't assume things. I think you just stalked me and saw what I did, then wrote it all down, then you are saying I followed it...

+ You can't buy skills, drugging in a polygon DM won't help you improve your XP skills

#FailGuide

P.S: Most pro players that I know doesn't even buy, they just earned their garage...

I am just stating that the procedures I have stated here is how you achieved your rank and garage in 6 months, of course you deserve full credit for coming up with these Ideas on your own, you are exactly the type of player that should use this guide, you had money and natural talent, as well as a desire to get to tournament level play in the shortest possible time.

As far as DMs go that is only the means to acquire rank quickly, but varied gameplay is important to hone your skills, I stated that clearly in you topic "Buy Hornet and Rail, you need to be very skilled with this combo to be a STAR in tournaments." and also in reference to other posts in this guide.

This topic is not aimed at current Tanki players but new players who are just now joining the game with the only interest in getting into StarLadder tournaments

Why does it look like a newbie wrote this ''guide''

It looks like a bad advertisement to buy crystals to me.

If you want to do it without buying and wait 1 1/2 to 2 years to get into StarLadder then follow my tips here http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=184384&view=findpost&p=3253728

You have proven you can get there without buying, wait your rank is still too low and you have been playing now for 2 years.

Dictator is not a tournament Hull.

I have been playing for 2 years, and not a big level, because i left the game when i was third luitenent, and got to that rank withing 5 to 6 months.

I joined the forum and did not focus on the game. I have started playing since past 3 weeks, and am 5k points away from 1st luitenent, I basically dominate every single battle with a wasp, and sometimes hunter. So, I don't need to be a buyer to be a successful player.

Hi,

the guide has mistakes but no one will notice.

This guide has nothing to do with starladder.

And you encourage us non-buyers to buy. Im not buying.

This is more like a guide of  noobs that just joined,

this guide says nothing about starladder.

At least i earned my garage.

Having good tanks and being able to use them well are two different things- the first does not imply one can accomplish the latter. Also, if one is only good at Deathmatches, and StarLadder has only filmed Capture The Flag Matches thus far... where does that leave your viewers?

OMG it's tommy60 O:

Sorry to all of you non buyers who have taken offence to this topic, but I have writen this to help gamers who have been watching StarLadder tournaments online and have visited the forum and asked me how they can join a starladder team and how long it will take to get to the rank required to play.
When I tell them without buying it will take 1 1/2 to 2 years, they just about drop dead. No other game they have ever played took more than 2 or 3 months to get to a competitive level.
They then ask me if there are ways to advance faster and so I came up with this guide to help players like that with the means and ambition to reach a competitive level faster.

Im pretty sure that real gamers aint gonna waste money on Tanki.

if i would waste on something money, would be on a game with realistic graphics .-.

Some tanki players, pay in 1 payment more than i pay in 1 month for food -.-(the hardcore buyers)

Some people can get to brigardier in 1 year without buying. Sometimes even less than 1 year to get to brigardier. You can be a No-lifer and become good in less than a year than being a buyer.

This is the worst guide I have seen in my entire life.

First of all, you can't buy skills, you have to practice over and over again, perfect every small detail

Second of all, you are telling everyone to waste money on crystals. If you play well enough, you can earn a lot of crystals.

Third of all, buyers are the most hated people in the whole universe. They are annoying, messed up and have IQ's lower than 5. You don't want to be someone like that.

Sorry buyers

You can't buy skills, but it doesn't take 2 years to learn the intricacies of tournament play, if you buy and aquire an M3 garage in 8 to 12 months and you are familiar with MMO shooter games, you can easily get into tournament play and start winning, there are thousands of professional gamers out there looking for a new tournament adventures to get involved in, but in Tanki, to start a career and aquire the required equipement and rank without buying takes at least 14 to 16 months, with buying you can cut that time almost in half.

Maybe it took  you 2 + years to learn how to play tanki,

If you have been playing League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy and others, the basics of Voice chat, advanced tactical gameplay and accurate keyboard skills will easily allow pro games to transition into this game and become deadly on the battlefield in 8 months.

Well if you intend on buying at any time during your career, then go for the score multiplier, no supply pass, drug kit, and KILL, KILL, KILL in DM's. You will rank fast.

Choose what ever hull and turret you feel gives you the most and fastest kills, getting a kit will give you an advantage like light and medium M1 kits would be good choices.

Get as much hornet/wasp and Railgun experience you can, make a duelling topic and go one on one for skills and play XP battles.

As far as turrets and hulls, for tourney you will need Hornet, Wasp, Hunter, Viking, Rail, Smoky, Needle, Prodigi, Savanna, and Dirty.

to keep the finances at bay Don't buy every hull and turret, just the primary Kill machine you choose and just keep buying with best discounts you are offered and save up for the M3 kits when your rank allows. or major 50% off sales when they come around.
