[TFP] The Flying Parkourists

I am going to post some feedback that is directed to some people from TFP (and to cube), but since I terribly failed every single time I tried to give feedback to TFP in a nice and acceptable way, I also included a piece of text that I hope will help you look at my feedback differently this time. Please read the text in the spoiler before you read the rest of my post.

 

 

 

As a culture, we’ve become so fragile that we must combine honest feedback with 20 compliments. And when we get feedback, we do our best to disprove it. Psychologists call this confirmation bias — the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information that confirms our own beliefs, while giving excessively less consideration to alternative possibilities.

It’s easy to get praise when you ask family and friends who will tell you exactly what you want to hear. Instead of seeking praise, your work will improve if you seek criticism.

 

 

 

Another thing is I deeply apologize for the especially terrible, rude and offensive way I posted my feedback last time. I got pulled into this childish argument like many of us that I'm sure didn't want to go down to this level. I learned from my mistake and I won't repeat it - but some others still do and that's why I post this.

 

I'm going to post here a few examples of provoking messages so you will know exactly what I'm talking about.

 

 

 

 

 

 

One example is the reply of My.RAGE in F&F topic. This is not feedback nor a random comment on the discussion. Everyone who saw how many times TFP members used the fact that we use light hulls in parkour to say that we're not that good at parkour can understand beyond any doubt that this comment is another offensive/provoking comment about us using light hulls in parkour (ironically, after us posting a video with medium and even heavy hull parkour).

 

 

 

 

 

 

The most standing out is shadow's post in the Striker parkour contest in the newspaper, me and stanzhang are the judges of it. He just asked a simple question because he didn't understand something about the criteria we stated for winning the contest so he asked an absolutely normal question that everyone else were wondering about it too, right? NO. It clearly is an offensive comment saying "I'm sure you're a corrupt judge and gonna favor your team and make TFP lose" combined in an attempt to sound mature and disguise the attack under his weird choice of words.

 

No matter what words you choose to sound more mature or formal or whatever.... it won't, under any circumstances, make you look any better with such messages. It even makes you look worse. Don't play the interpretation game with me... I know you can come up with other meanings and reasons for writing your provoking messages but it's not gonna fool anyone and won't put you in a better light. This applies to everyone who's still posting these, not only to shadow.

 

And about cube, I mentioned you here because you are doing pretty much the same as in the examples I posted, it's not just TFP members that do this. For example here's the message where you were teasing TFP with F&F being featured in the vlog.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm asking all of you, please get over it and stop posting these provocations. I don't hate you and don't try to prove anything about you, I'm far over this stupid argument and you should get over it too. Some people in F&F (including myself) have friends in TFP and we want our friends from the other club to succeed and have no interest in bringing their club down. We all love parkour and enjoy making parkour videos and playing with each other, and I really want it to be seen instead of having people supporting the other club pretty much secretly in PMs while keeping only the offensive and provoking messages public.

Thank you for your time and plz don't make an argument out of it.
