Here is Why Railgun always won in discount voting

You may not, Railgun always win in discount voting, and Railgun is the only gun used to get 65% off,

 

let me explain why,

 

1. before original Rebalance, Railgun is the cheapest gun to get M3 in terms of the power on tier 1-2 weapon, a lot of old players use railgun as their main gun, like me.

 

2. based on large user base, after railgun won the 1st discount voting, more railgun players will be born because the 50% discount, potiential of other gun players reduced

 

3. the more people using railgun, the more people will vote for railgun 50% discount next time

 

------------------------------- What if those player already with m3 railgun still vote railgun--------------

 

4. big numbers of m3 railgun players will still vote railgun, because they hate to see other gun becoming more, like Thunder, Isida, Freeze, they are the most annoying gun to railgun users, so railgun players will do whatever they can to stop them increase in number on battlefield, 

 

even voting railgun again after m3 railgun, to stop see more thunder, isida and freeze.

 

5. new railgun players are not a threat to exsiting railgun players, because railgun need a lot of practice to get the timing right, so new railgun players rarely able to aim and shoot correctly, exsiting railgun player can easily win over new railgun players without any damage.

Using railgun requires lots of skills unlike short range stuff.  People like you will never understand the true value of it unless you play a xp match or 2 with railgun against some pros......

Great topic, that is a very good explanation. :)

I am also a Railgun user and I bought M1 awhile ago and I was playing mostly against Hornet M0 users. (You can see where this is going, right?)

One shot, one kills were common for me, and I used it a lot. B)

But I voted for Thunder, mainly because I already had Rail M2, and I wanted M2 Thunder to add to my garage when I ranked.

I voted for shaft even when I have rail, I vote because I want me and other players to develop on other guns too. Its not the gun you use it's how you use it and where you use it  :P  :ph34r:

You're not the only one to conquer Rail's full modifications. Other, rather young, players still have Railgun m0-m1-m2, this sale is for them. Remember the time when you were really in need of a sale on Rail but you kept on hoping and it never came anytime soon, but after a long wait it finally came and you bought your beloved modification; it is the same for our low rankers now ;)

you are right, rail needs skill and xp battle is good way to understand it

i thought i would play bad in my 1st xp, but i was surprised that there are so many "noobs", so i was going good and mostly was winning

Play an xp and you'll know. Rail does need a lot of practice. Thats why most clan wars are xp's.

OP, I guarantee that most people do not think that way, trying to keep other players from getting turrets and such.  I voted for Rail this sale simply because I did not have it, and wanted to see how it handled, and fulfill an old objective of mine. I know my mindset is uniquely mine, but most people don't try to turn discounts into tactical economic advantages over other players.

This is surely a very appropriate analysis. And the same reasons lead to the victory of hornet in hulls votings. Hornet Railgun is the preferred combo in fact. But there are many users that never pass through the stage of railgun where you kill none and get always killed because you didn't develop your skills yet.... And they end up getting rico, smoky or freeze, most dangerous weapons to railgun.
