Imagine you bought Freeze M2 with your hard-earned crystals in a sale which took you months to save up. You loved it for it's strong damage, long charge, and good range. After a few days of using it, there was an announcement that it will be weakened. How would you feel when the Freeze M2 that took you a long time to save up for was just gonna be nerfed here and there huh? When it's range and damage is just gonna be reduced to nothing? When it's unique Freeze effect is just gonna be removed by the cheapest and most common weapon in the game? This is basically a crime already!!!

 

HOW WOULD YOU FEEL?!

Exactly. First of all you guys reduced the time a tank would remain frozen. We accepted that because freeze was OP. But now, making isida able to undo the freeze effect? I understand you want to make the tanks more diverse, but that can't be done by nerfing freeze. All you will do is make the weapon less popular. Instead, you should nerf Ricochet and Twins. Those are the MOST overpowered guns in the game. Even hunter had been buffed too much. And now, you are increasing it's HP. Way to go guys, at this rate almost nobody will use freeze anymore. And everyone will start using twins/ricochet with hunter.

you havent played long enough to tell. firebird is only common at your rank and lower cause of its price. rookies want to upgrade something to m1 as soon as they can and they choose firebird (if not - smoky)

I am glad they are doing what they are doing to firebird and freeze - I don't use those turrets and I feel that they can be extremely irritating at times, even with protection. It's interesting that isida will remove the burn and freezing effects off of an ally when healing. I also feel the self-destruct penalty is fair, as self-destructing is quite common (even I do it). 

 

Mammoth and titan are going to have their speed increased, which I like only because titan is my favourite hull B) . I see that hornet's protection will be increased slightly, but it is already the most popular hull - doing this will make it even more popular and other hulls will be used less, which will make the game less fun, in my opinion. I may also be a hornet user, but that does not mean that my point was invalid.

 

Anyway, these are just my views on the upcoming rebalance and I don't speak for anyone else.

Hmm? They actually decreased their speed, and nerfed their health, by the looks of it. It basically ruined Titan for me.

Well after some playing on test server, here's what I've come up with.

 

Rico is nerfed, but it's still powerful, probably because it's expensive. Freeze actually didn't get THAT much nerfed, you just need to get a little bit closer, and most freeze users do that anyway. Hornet got buffed by 1-2 hp, not a big deal. It's not really the best hull, I kill them easily, but i like its acceleration and stability compared to wasp, since I play light hulls. Changes considering isida aren't much of a deal either, they are a bit of a nerf for fire and freeze, but most of the time it won't matter as you wouldn't be able to kill the guy the isida was healing either. Medkits are almost as same as before, they just last 1 second longer.

The self-destruct thingy is actually horrible. You lose 1 kill in DM and 5 points in CTF. Not to mention the mults. Self-destruct is a strategy on its own so if you're trying to make tanki more dynamic, remove the penalty!

 

Tanki, please remove the self-destruct penalty, everything else is great!

I can understand how you are feeling i brought freeze m2 a month ago now this update. i am so angry and sad from morning i am non-buyer i play hard earn crystals wait for sale then buy something and dev brings "reblance" $hit dev's do something about freeze and self-destructing.

That is a definite up for your post.

I play legit, I earned my crystals for freeze, which is my favourite weapon. Now the developers nerf it and make it pathetic.

I hope they won't touch railgun next..

Answering the questions about self-destruction penalties, they will apply to everything. What can I say? Don't flip too much and push each other off the edges of maps!

So what about CTF matches? if we self destruct does that take 1 point away from flag captures? cause if so, that is very unfair for simple accidents of falling off maps or upside down.
