Update 270 — balancing of turrets and hulls

OMG THANK YOU! M1 DICTATOR 192 HEALTH. M3 ALMOST 300!!!! It's now a true beast. Mammoth has more health then Titan. Thanks Tanki. Love it.

Ok. I have a question like now which weapon and hull is the best?

A million dollar question. If only I knew the answer before any balance update  :unsure:

I think rail needs a slight buff to keep up with some of the other weapons... Not extra damage, for that may increase 1 shots, which is fun  :P , but that isn't very balanced I guess.... But, I think that it needs a reload buff... That would help a lot, even if it's just .25 seconds faster....

At M0, it seems that rail is pretty underpowered too, compared to thunder at least...

Let me know what you think...  :)

Agreed. But can not buff it right now. Rail is too good by its price and ranks. Need to find a better way and not to overflow game with rails.

:( I used to play with hornet + rico but now its gone. -_-. !!! What I am gonna do now ? Rail ? Rail bad need 2 shot about 14 sec to kill any tank. In 14 sec they gonna ruins my life.

So any thunder player self destructs while killing a enemy at the same time earns us nothing  so if that happens in a DM do we just wait for them to kill us then?

Well, a slight damage buff for M0 rail, because thunder is almost doing as much damage as rail (thunder's max vs rail's min).. Put off Rail M2 till captain rank, and cost maybe 101,000??? Maybe decrease impact force by about 10-50....

I don't know.... It's all up to Tanki I guess... We will see about the fortunate/unfortunate future of the railgun... :P

 

I guess until then I will play either in my isida or firebird... both are pretty strong in battles where I go to (unless its generalissmo's... then i'm screwed.. :P)...

I suggest you to make rail a weapon so it need one shot to kill any tanks expect heavy tanks like mammoth and Titan. Please, do it for me ir else I wont gonna rank up. Rank up cuz school cant play Tanki for . 5 days in a week.

Thanks for these amazing changes. Specially the self destruct thing because I think we all hate it when others do it and laugh when we do it our self, so it's even now :P

 

Though I think the range of damage for Firebird and Freeze shouldn't be decreased because other turrets already have an advantage of killing from a distance, so they can simply run away and shoot. It's not that I am complaining, it's just a suggestion.

 

Overall, I love the changes. I am soon getting Thunder M3 and Smoky M2 : )

Nice.  Heavy hulls' speed were reduced, which disappoints me, but I could get used to it.  You did give some turrets some proper buffs and changes.  You also gave Viking back it's HP.  It would take long to explain the rest, so I guess all I have left to do is actually try these things out.  Keep up the good work devs. ;)

you guys are just saying to do all turret & hulls + paints upto M3?

because every month you decleared 1 wepon as over powered ? or nerfed 3-5 turrets?

 

great business strategy

thunders not OP so they increased thunders damage stop whining...

Useless! because of slower shooting rate it takes us more shots to correct aim against a fast moving opponent, not to mention how many of the shots seem to miss, even if perfectly aligned, flying exactly above enemy tanks. At first i tought about lag but i didnt have similar problems with any other turrets but Rico

Tanki you won't take all of our turrets, hulls, modifications and averything then give us spent crystals to make our minds like 2013 rebalance?

I am very happy, primarily because I have many problems with rico :P

However, one of the things that frustrates me the most, is that many of the rico shots miss me, but they still damage me... I've been killed many times like this, and I'm not lagging either... I think the game servers are very unfair with this, but, it is what it is....

I think that to solve this problem, since rico usually shoots projectiles in a straight line, we need some sort of "homing device" on rico projectiles so that it can hit enemies... However, it should only home in within, say 1-2 meters of the target...
