Update 270 — balancing of turrets and hulls

Somebody please clear me that whether thunder in close range has problem now because of self-destruct penalty. When a tank like firebird is attacking me and suppose 1 shot from thunder is capable of killing him but at the same time it will also kill me because of the close range, will i suffer from penalty?

that new selfdestruction rule will become annoying. On one hand its good cause players will have to decide if they want to loose points by selfdestruct, but on the other hand what if someone flip me, its not my fault and i should loose points for selfdestruction ? Also imagine thunder caught in close range fight with for example freeze he cant move cause of freeze effect, and he wont be able to fight back cause if he will fire at enemy he risk splash to his own face and possible selfdestruction, so i m not sure if it will work very well.

Please respond to that question, it's important!

In that case, you wait to be killed by an ennemy and you go change in your garage, no penalty.

yes I know. I have tried that but sometimes respawn is faster than going to the garage. I was respawning while I was in the garage

one must be really quick for that. changing equipment has become a race against the time now. they should have considered this before making these changes

It is not fair! Thunder and Ricochet have this feature and it's a big problem now. And close range shooting appears anytime in batlles. It is not a choice to self-destruct. We accept the feature wheni we choose Thunder. Now we should accept to pay for something that's not good for us? Twice? Once by being destruct in battle and twice by paying for?! I don't like that!

I think self destruct should only penalize the player who does it in DM matches and TDMs where the point of the battles is strictly kills, and is widely used by players to alter the outcome of battle it could also give the player or players who have wounded him extra points for the kill, in capture the flag and capture points it really doesnt matter that much and can easily be used by mults to alter the outcome of the game.

OK,I have few things on my mind,since this update is implemented in game,funds are drasticlly reduced..I know this is descised as "powerleveling counter meassures",but this is just riddicioluos!!!..it was hard enough to gain crystals as it was,but now?..it's almost impossible to gain enough crystals for new garage items with in game rewards like this,with this you just encourage people on lower ranks to play private power leveling battles..my estimate is that funds are lower around 30% ..this ain't funny..not at all!!!..many of us who finished with school have time to play/earn..but with funds like this?..OI will certainly spend my time in other way..

every day new changes. when player do mu any gun or tank after few days devs change those things but no refund. then player found another gun is good after mu they do that thing mu ..... and then another change come but no refund ........... only buyer can du all mu ...... but devs can't understand this thing they don't know how difficult thing is to earn cryslts and now earning system also changed  :angry: .

continuiously playing a game feel like bored (as i play TO 2 years in a row)

its ideal time to migrate to some other game .

I think this update is great. I especially like self-destruct penalty and diminishing freezes ridiculous freezing effect over long distances which has made a game sometimes almost unplayable for other players. Self-destructing is essentially cheating so my kudos for TO about these changes. Thunder's power-gain is also great; had just three enemies destroyed by one shot. :lol:

what i dont like is ( when we change the weapon we have to self destruct or if any lag happen the 5 points will go sooooo) i dont agree with this

I think there already was this problem when changing a weapon - they definitely should have changed that when taking sd penalty into action. But that's only a minor complaint. All in all I think sd penalty makes perfect sense if you actually want to fight instead of just trying to prevent other players from getting points.
