Update 270 — balancing of turrets and hulls

i am sorry but lot of players dont know about XP battles including myself. so can you please tell me what XP battle actually is?

It's a battle mode where players use hornet and railgun only without protection. Go to server 1 and you'll find many battles named XP-K, XP. http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=203138 - here's an article by GoldRock about XP battles.

ricochet wants it's range back!!!

 

Why does ricochet loose power when the most over powered weapon (Shaft) gain damage. My tank isn't happy :-(

lol i dont think shaft is OP at my level xD(all you need is good paint xD)

you should have played against shaft before the first rebalance then you would have known what shaft really was xD

i cant believe anyone has not realized this for ricochet :-

before:                                                                      after:

total energy = 1000                                                                          total energy = 1000

energy per shot =  185                                                                      energy per shot = 151.5

total shots = 1000/185 = 5.4                                                             total shots = 1000/151.5 =  6.6

total damage =  5.4x20.2 =109                                                     total damage =  6.6x18.3 =120.8

 

all of these are estimate using M0 damage so if they are wrong i can be excused.

Rico has been the weapon I have used for 90% of the time. I do think I'm skilled in it's use, finishing either top or very close to it in Dm's.( If no one drugs for the whole game) Since the update I find I'm losing more kills than before to other players. The problem is it takes just too long to strike the final blow, giving your target time to run behind cover, or even turn and knock you into into next week if it's a Thunder. For me I don't think it poses a big enough threat in a DM any more. The extra time needed to kill an opponent is enough for someone else to take you out while you try to get in the final hit.

Yes, why not to make Isida even more powerful? when ever I see a battle with two Isida (and especially with double power/armor) I leave the battle.

Now it do what freez do to fire, it keeps heeling it's self while attacking (no logic here)... lets make it fly and make me coffee and we are done.

wrong,each modification had 10 shots in the clip,considering the reload.

so before 10x20.2=202

now 10x18.3=183

epic,this is the only thing which cots points .-. Even if thats a high fund battle,because of flipping u would even get to bottom of the scoreboard.It's good,but why not make it something more like if they SD with thunder/rico,make them respawn like 2-4mins,reducing point is bad.Any suggestions please?

In all fairness, the update does make sense, I've tested the weapons and people say rico is bad now, well I'm not sure what your using but its still good, just a slight decrease. I think everything's good the way it is actually i lied, Dictator has more health than hunter and vik ... wow -_- anyway wasp needs to be changed, its unfair railgun kills it with 1 shot -_-

And yeah, hornet should not die by single rail shot.

rail M2 kills hornet M2 with one shot (corossion paint dont help at all). experienced in many Serpuhov battles. and why? rail damaga is 88-135 and hornet protection is, idk now, i have 141.1.

Hornet is overprotected, shaft is way worser than before :( thunder is overpowered, you won't be seeing much of me until they fix the game properly sorry, i'd rather now have the last update not this one  :angry:

Great! And I think that you should do something also with effectivness of Ricochet. Fight with them it is not balanced. With same equipment, with no supplies, you have no chance. Thanks Okatamura
