Is Lag hack possible? which ruins the game

_{lag hack is entirely possible,I used to play diablo lord of destruction it was used to duplicate items, one in particular some thing called  a stone or jordans ring which when sold to vendors in the game would create a world event. A huge powerful monster would  appear and when you killed him he droped an elite item called an annilihas stone. People literally duplicated 100,000 of the rings using lag.}
