Hardest Languages?

I heard, that Chinese has over 150000 letters, and only 6000 of them are used in everyday speaking. That's also the reason why a lot of chinese people in mid-school haven't still learned Chinese.

German is hard, to an extent. Honestly, three genders, and the fact they have four actively used case (nominative, accusative, dative & genitive), and the adjective agreements... Gosh, I need to learn 3 sets of endings (definite article, indefinite article and no article) for adjectives, which don't even correspond with the ending of the article. And don't even get me started on the anger of two-way prepositions...

But hey, why am I complaining? It's a language, and as I'm trying to teach myself, I should accept its challenges.

Very funny, you should try Latvian, we have 6 actively used case (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive, locative, vocative).
