Deep Shadows = Low FPS?

Hi everyone, I have an issue with the game. I bought a new grafix card from nvidia, and it works great with all the settings in-game. Although when i enable deep shadows my FPS drops below 8 sometimes lower then 5, without deep shadows i have around 50-60 FPS. Is there any way to fix this?

Deep shadows is quite heavy texture so it usually affects gameplay/fps. There is no such way to fix it other than upgrading PC to a high gaming level (maybe). Anyways you can enjoy a high quality gameplay without deep shadows.

deep shadow requires a nvidia gtx780 type of video card and maybe a i7-4700k cpu to get good fps

That's a bit overkill...

Decent specs are needed, but it's not that demanding

You don't need to use deep shadows in setings.Be happy that you have good gameplay.I don't even have good graphyc card so I am going to upgrade it soon (in 2 weeks).I don't even have Automatic Graphyc Quality in settings.My graphyc card is very low.

Yeah, deep shadows are pretty demanding, but not as demanding as you say. I play with dust+dynamic shadows+dynamic lighting, I get 30-40 on all small-medium- sometimes large maps, when I turn deep shadows on, they drop to 15-20, but there is delay in the execution

it is not just about graphic card. i believe that it depends on how your internet connection speed is. so there can be a lot of issues :/
