Hello there! Welcome to Herobrine's disscusion on the shaft and railgun! In this post i will talk about their pros & cons, tips, and (possibly) more! If you have any questions, please state them below. (And for those who are wondering, i have been playing tanki for a very long time.) So without further ado, lets start with the shaft.

PROS AND CONS

Pros-

very strong firepower

Unlimited range

Players tend to go "crap" when they see you looking at them

The sniping GUI

The ability to shoot without sniping mode

Cons-

Very slow turning speed (even slower when sniping)

Very slow ammo recharge

Very easy to spot the long turret

Impossible to move when sniping

TIPS

Use places enemys dont look at to your advantage! You can do things like hit them, then quickly retreat behind a wall leaveing the enemy clueless of what the heck just hit him.

When sniping, you can see through things like bushes. If you hide behind them, have a paint like flora or some other greenish paint and a rather small turret, some tankers just skip you.

Bushes, dark paint, and deep shadows mixed together create a very good camoflage. Tankers who like to go faster then most, will probally not see you.

Sometimes, bigger isnt better, unless you like to sit in the same place the entire game. I mostly go for hornet or hunter with the shaft, cause if enemy tankers see you and they have a weapon that can completly demolish you, you dont want to be stuck with a slow mammoth.

Now for railgun tips.

(Railgun section wont be as long, as i use shaft more often then railgun.)

PROS & CONS

Pros

Unlimited range

high damage

OK turret speed

Cons

Long reload time

tanks can follow the laser and find out where you are

long shooting warm-up

TIPS

when faraway, try to line up the barrel with the enemy tank, it helps a lot.

Same thing as shaft, shadows, bushes, and paint help a ton

Work very good with fast hulls, because when an enemy sees you you can shoot him then run around till your ammo fills up

DO NOT GET TOO COCKY. PERIOD.

Thats all i can think of for now. If i missed anything plz let me know down below.

BTW this is my first guide so any support would be appreciated. I also do fourm games. I will let you guys know if i have new content here, so chech often!
