would like to also point out that all referee's speak Russian only too

And is that an advantage to the Russian Clans? Elaborate please.

you elaborated for me :)

total advantage for Russians.

it is better if we have it the way like before with only cybersport. They actually have a clue what the are doing while star ladder don't

I'm not participating in the StarLadder Series, but based off of what players are commenting on... I'm assuming the clan war times are completely dreadful? Tell me I'm wrong if i am.

they are dreadful the whole system sucks. Cybersport is better 100%

as you clearly can see 56% here like cs better so bring it back and get rid of this star ladder stuff

Hah i wish, but I think the TO Staff needs a lot more than 29 players (29 votes for Cybersport)  to sway them over to removing TO from StarLadder, something the Staff worked hard to bring the game into.

I do think that Cybersport  must be mixed with Starladder. The top clans of the English community must compete in Starladder with the Dutch and Russian top clans. This would be better than JUST Starladder right away.

Cybersport because English clans don't have a single chance this way... The playing times are horrible, we lose vs noobclans just because we can't get enough members online at these times. I will give you an example, one battle we were 3 players while the enemy had 6, they were full m3 and still we lost that round just 5-0. They were so noob but we couldn't win because of the time we had to play, this is unfair and that's why I don't like Starladder.

Sorry to hear that. Matchtime problem, which has often been raised in the tournament, was reported.

So if the time was on your side and you could get a fair 6 vs 6 game , you think you could beat top russian clans ? Look lets be fair , russians are way better than us , i don't know why , but lets take NA for example or even AK they're considered to be top English clans and it's rare that a L3 or even L2 could beat them, however their results in Star series aren't that good. So my point is that, time has got nothing to do with this as it's mostly comes down to team work/Individual skill.

Top russian clans act like professionals when they play... A thing our clans don't: read more here http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=209026

Still the comments and feedback are appreciated, and something to begin with :)

This option was considered by me too, but denied by other administrators.

OK, except the last thing it sounds good! Although I will suggest once again a tournament just for the English community like lucky7..

Both are horrible honestly, I have had experience with reporting such issues that I have done it about 6 times, I took part in many tournaments, I rarely been in a clan though, but I'm talking about free sport.

StarLadder: Time, Ping, the whole thing, is Russians' - The system itself is complicated. But this system is much more professional and it is arranged way better, but StarLadder itself is NOT WORLDWIDE, and it does not fit the English community based on their Timezones + Experience.

CyberSport: It really is not enough since Russians were suffering all these years before all 3 communities got mixed, but they used to achieve their goals, they gave them paints as prizes, which they deserve.

But CyberSport was absolutely fairer before they mix all 3 communities, the ping was approximately the same for all English players, and all of them could play in time.

Here's the thing, if they just apply these things, I would be satisfied.

1. Let Russian community play with itself, it is really enough that Russian community holds like 6 or 7 countries (Who can speak Russian), German community holds like 6 countries, and English, all of them, it is worldwide, but since Russian players are much more than German and more than English ones, they should mix English with German communities. They may arrange trainings with Russian clans.

2. Give Russians the strong special paints (Champion, Silver, Bronze, etc.) and English the decent ones (Acid, Gladiator, Veteran, Star (and add a few paints maybe)).

3. Give Cybersport moderators something to do, start creating Solo + Tandem tournaments with special no protection paints as prizes and crystals (A paint for a individual player may sound unfair, so just give out a paint without protection at all).

4. Russian commentators commentate on Russian clan wars and English plus German commentators commentate on theirs.

5. League 4 clans must rank to league 3 in order to get a paint as a prize.

6. Player-made tournaments have to stay, but with no paints as a prize of course.

7. ADD MORE FORMATS along with XP or just remove XP format, because it is useless when some player has a better ping, it proves no skills at all.

8. It would be pretty good if a new part of Staff called Translators is made, they could translate Russian guides and give credits to their original owners.

And yeah, that's it, this is all what I want to happen in CyberSport, but I doubt if at least 2 of these would be applied, just giving an opinion.

This sounds good, but this way we won't be no where near the russians in terms of team work/ Skill that's why i think starladder gave us the chance to play and learn something from them.

P.S @SlLVER I agree with most of your points apart from the first one as it won't help us at all , i mean there's no point from playing with our community and getting prizes for doing so (paints, crystals, etc..)and, there are better people out there. If we won't play with/against them we won't improve, at all.

There should definitely be no English community tournaments, how are we different from Russian clans?

Time zone difference? Last time I checked Russia is GMT+4, almost the same as Europe and if you live in North/South America, you would still have a time zone problem, still a big gap from America to Europe, you would still complain about the bad timing.

Language issues? Use Google translate, if you're too lazy, ask StarLadder moderators to do so.

English clans can't beat Russians? Russians aren't born with skill to play, they train, they manage their clans well and they are a perfect example of teamwork, instead of playing apart from them, we should play with them and learn from their gameplay.

The only issue in Staadder that I see is the weird arrangement of ranking cups, everything else is perfect.

It's for dumb people , and/or children.

How can a professional online gaming league be childish or dumber than that forum clan thing Tanki had going for years?

Too many problems for English clans in SL so far, during CS I didn't mentioned that. So once during a period it would be goodnto see whwt are the English pro clans and which did improve or not. Will continue tomorrow.

StarLadder is not a freetime activity, it is something that makes this more than a game. Not coming to a battle due to the fact that you have to go eat is a lack of dedication. Russians are dedicated to win, their lives revolve around cybersport and they skip vacations, jobs and other things to be able to train or play. You can't expect to win if you treat important wars as a free time activity.

So why complain about bad timing, go and live.

Have to agree, but not all of us can just skip activites in real life to play or train :/

^ Time is not a problem. The main problem is that our community have no chances in the battles with Russians and I hate that live streaming is just in Russian language. There're more things to talk about.

I just don't like SLTV, I support old Cybersport  -->  http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=210880&p=3766970.
