Turret Protection Vs. Camo

 Share

Recommended Posts

If your a sniper, you should know that camouflage is very important. Certain paints protect you from certain guns. I've been wondering which camo does best in different areas.

Personally, I think the look that the paint gives you is more important than the protection that you get from it, especially if your a sniper like me. I don't like when paints make me stand out because then the opponent finds and kills me quicker.

Please comment on what you think works well as camo as well as the area that you find it most useful in.

Please don't argue in the comments.

This is my first post so try not to hate.

Thank you!

Tundra is a must :/ (hehe bias)

Because it's a rippled white/gray like most walls. It has decent railgun protection (30%) and a good survivable smoky protection (10%)

Digital has some shaft protection (10%), smoky (13%), and its rail is (35%) but it stands out... a lot, also, you can't bring digital into XP battles but you can bring Tundra if you have m2 hornet.

When you finally rank to field marshal, get Prodigi then, it has quite the protection.

Thanks ^-^

I'm still at a noob rank (Just got to Warrant 1 yesterday) but when I can Tundra sounds great. I honestly didn't think anyone would reply so this is greatly appreciated.

If you want a paint that disguises what Modification of gun you have Metallic sure does a good job. I can hardly tell what an enemy has most of the time.  But green hides you pretty hard good when you are in/behind bushes or trees. If you have shaft, you would barely be seen! As long as you don't move a lot.

If you are hiding in bushes, I recommend dirty. It is fairly cheap, good paint at your rank, blends in, and it protects from shaft and a bit of rail.

If you are really on a tight budget, use green or forester. As said above, tundra works well in winter maps and blends in with some walls and stuff.

Winter has pretty good protections and camouflage for a camper :)

Digital too gives pretty nice camouflage

There are always the paints that combine those two characteristics(Camo-Prot). Personal favourite and that would also work great for a "Sniper" are Clay, Picasso, Prodigy, Needle, Digital for Summer mode....and Winter, Tundra for winter mode (Prodigy would fit too here).
