Paint choice inappropriate ~~ reverse choice + crystal refund?

Recommended Posts

I looked around in the forums, and researched online- couldn't find an answer to this. I trust I'm posting this in the correct section.

Less than 24 hours ago - out of frustration, I spent 2000 hard earned crystals [i don't buy] on lead paint for my M1 Wasp. The 18% [or so] Shaft cushion did not achieve the desired preservation effects. Likely, the intrinsic durability of the hull [at least at the level mine is at] is so low that a full power hit from clear across the battlefield is still fatal....immediately after respawn, when I'm at full health. Also- having this paint actually reduced my average battlefield "lifespan" since the shade of green negates any camo effect that my tank had before [ an effect I didn't realize was so beneficial to me until it was no longer there] and I draw far more attention to myself now. So, I likely won't use the paint at all now.

I would've been far better off spending those crystals elsewhere. Such as gun Range/Punch [to momentarily disrupt Shafts aim], or even handling characteristics to further potentiate the avoidance of such impacts. Amassing that many crystals takes me quite some time and effort. [i agree that mutting is wrong]. Can my poor choice can somehow be reversed?

For what it's worth- I did try to become as informed as possible before making this choice. I do recognize that it was my decision, and the common response to my appeal might be that I should just knuckle down and live with it. I simply figured the paint would be more beneficial than spending on MU's, and would at least take some of the edge off my frustration of being constantly picked off from the farthest reaches of the field. I was 'dead' wrong. I realize that M1 Wasp is all but made of tissue paper, yet I appreciate the relative perks and enjoyment that come with the speed and handling. I can't afford to speed up a Hornet to levels which would make gameplay worthwhile for me.

Any help, or non mean spirited response, would be well appreciated.

Thanks for reading all this, and good luck!

Sorry, but there are no refunds. Sucks for you, right? But good for the Tanki Online company itself. After all, it only has one currency, which is shared by both non-buyers and buyers. So being able to refund and/or sell, would completely screw up the income they receive, I do believe, and tick off buyers.

Even if you do recognize that it was your choice, there's still no refund. Again, sorry.

Maybe you can take part on forums, and contests, and amass more crystals that way.

Either that, or aim to gather more crystals in-game. Go for Crystal Boxes, but don't be a Mult at the same time, get what I mean?

Maybe you could be a hardcore killer, but stray only in paths where crystal boxes fall. That way, you're repelling enemies yet getting PAID at the same time. Haha. After all, lets face it, crystal boxes generate more crystals than rewards with the exception of Long Battles and/or 2X Events.

However, Long Battles are risky as you are in the possibility to be swept by a crazy drugger.

You'll start earning more crystals as you rank. So at your current rank, keep active on forums, take part in contests, and go for crystal boxes.

Or if you really feel like it, you may start over, but choose carefully.

Next time, ask Forum people before making purchases. Does Lead really help Wasp? And things like that.

Like said before, there is no 'refund' option. But if you punch in a few MU's (Maybe 2 or 3 on your Wasp and 1 on Lead), you would be able to survive a Shaft hit. Just keep in mind to do this before you rake a break from Tanki or go to bed. Don't use Speed Ups. Also keep in mind to buy things on sale. Even for little things to do so. It might save you hundreds or even thousands of crystals which is vital at your rank.

And calculate things before you purchase them.  Determine how many hits you can survive or how much damage you can do with what. How efficient it would make you. Things like that.  Also make a bucket list of what you want and a budget. Try to stay within it.

It's just 2000 crystals, plus, it's probably ineffective of a paint cause your wasp has such low health, if you ever use a tank like mammoth and you are surrounded by shafts, lead might be useful and noticebly helpful
