I think i found the solution!

I was getting around 20 fps in google chrome even though my computer is good enough to run tanki. What you should do is go to settings and  tick off mip-mapping, that improved my performance by a mile! Also turn off adaptive fps as it can mess up sometimes. Then right click on the screen while in a  battle and click settings, make sure u  tick the box "Hardware Accerleration (or something like that), then click on the next tab and move the storage slider to unlimited, that will make it use more page file and reduce the strain on your computer. Also in the game settings make sure you disable all graphical settings like fog dynamic  shadows by unclicking "Automatic Graphics Quality" and unchecking everything under it! Hope this helps!

Flash player really helps. It loads way faster and unless your computer or your wifi is totally bad your game should run better then any other web browser. Good luck

this is the main reasons : google chrome co operation with all computer graphic card is poor, also ask.com and yahoo are not suitable due to the risk of crashing sense tanki online is a high graphical game . Use internet explorer , opera , Mozilla firefox or the orginal google .

if u wana use google but it's give probs just go in internet explorer , click on the settings [ a screw or nut is it representation shape] and go in internet settings , click default browers and click change then type in http\www.google.com

Try restarting your browser, it helps.

As said by eragon33, Flash player can be very useful too.

If you are still facing problems, then try to fix your PC(if it is a laptop, get it cleaned). Sometimes loads of junk get filled in your PC, and cleaning it helps. <- recommended because I've faced the exact same problem, and by doing that, FPS is usually over 50-60.
