OK, I think the next update will be to remove all turetts and hulls.

All but rail and hornet...SLTV might decide we no longer need the other stuff. LOL

Once again, I am saying Tanki Online was payed to move on this site. So it would increase web traffic, and the site's popularity. Hoping other games would come on the site, making the site more money.

Tanki Online would not accept such a thing if they were not payed, as everything is fine the way it is now.

Well thats how a company works...money drives companies but the one thing you must remember is this:

1. Companies need costumers

2. without customers the company is bankrupt

3. if everyone boycotts starladder than um you are going to have horrible players being displayed for Tanki.

4. Tanki does care about the players to a certain extent

Fair point, but for this instance Tanki isn't looking for more money. Let me explain.

For the sake of pure aesthetics the development of the game is getting oriented more towards a few easily accessible, user-friendly, and yet separate platforms. If it were all crammed into one spot such as the forum, simply keeping track of all the meaningful topics, cybersport discussions, spam and etc. results in far too much unnecessary time and effort, and any company and industry tries to make its employees' work as efficient and manageable as possible. A massive chunk of the game forum, previously tanki's main communication platform, is moderated, managed and kept secure by freelance volunteers, aka most of the varying mods and consultants. Those don't get paid real money, some aren't even over the age of 18, and its TO's job as an enterprise to keep the strain off its anyways limited workforce, thus leading to better organization. This means that all the chatting and all the contests and FaQ topics will remain on the forum for faster reference, but things such as  some contests and the entirety of Cybersport will be moved to other platforms so that they can be managed by a certain set of staff members, while the forum is managed by others, thus making the system run smoother and more efficiently and so it doesn't come down to exploiting volunteers, much like the current situation. I agree, it will be a loss and those hundreds of perfectly good topics with sentimental value will be lost, but professional clans and teams use skype, teamspeak and the starladder platform anyway, so the forum is no longer something they need. And what isn't needed, cannot stay. Perhaps in the future the system will be revised, but in the nearest future those are the required measures and we have to cope with them no matter how inconvenient it may seem. Feel free to debate on my position :)

Well if you want to start this whole debate over which clans talk or not on their clan page might want to go check this forum's and Russian forums as there are clans with tonnes of posts on their clan pages...it is the one place where everyone can just sit down talk and have fun at...on the clan page.
