Shade is definitely ahead of me in 3d modeling^ And I have no interest in becoming a professional 3d moder, I only use blender as an extension for my graphic designing purposes ^_^

Here's the tank which I designed for the newspaper contest:

I would've coloured the parts separately, but I joined all the parts before colouring them. Also, while trying to colour them separately, blender crashes. So, I guess I'll model it again if I get the time. Oh well, at least I had fun designing this.

You can really do epic pictures in blender, imo you can do better pics in blender than in PS, i might learn something as well, it looks so cool :)
