here is a tutorial on how to make grungy slightly gold metallic text, you can change it to more metallic if you want though. (Not my tutorial)

Holy hell, I am sick of screwing with the Tanki metal floor textures. It's pretty much impossible to get a decent photorealistic version of them... I had to use an external scratch texture to even get close ;( Image coming soon :D. I did one render, but it looked like crap, so here comes another.

256 samples, http://imgur.com/a/B9f3q probably have used 512 for a less noisy render.

 

Tanki really needs HD textures... with light maps... and bump maps....
