I hope my dad gets me a new PC now.

This 10 year old PC sux

This Thinkpad T400 I've got is a meh computer, but not good for gaming (Especially since its Linux*), or Blender.

*At least Tanki works, for now, Unity doesn't support Linux as of now. :(

It hurts me a lot when people uses their 2000$ computer for nothing but Facebook. I mean there's so much possibilities!

I know! That is pretty stupid.  I'll get some more textures made.

Edit: My schedule changed today so I'll probably have them tomorrow.

Very awesome tool!

#1: Import Images as Planes

Authors: Florian Mayer (tstscr), mont29, matali

Documentation:http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Extensions:2.6/Py/Scripts/Add_Mesh/Planes_from_Images

What It Does:
  • Eliminates stretching when applying images to planes
  • Creates the material node setups for you

This is probably the most useful of all addons in my arsenal. Prior to this addon, adding planes with textures was frustrating, because unless the image was exactly 1:1 in ratio, the image wouldn’t fit the plane perfectly. So you had to scale the plane manually. But this addon cuts out all the hard work for you.

Once the Addon is enabled, go to the Add Menu, choose the Image as Planes entry:

Select the image you wish to import along with the type of material (left bar):

And voila! The material has been added for you, and the plane matched to the exact dimensions of the image:

^Nice model there!  I was trying to figure out how to make the camera do the 360 one day and got the same method, except I was silly and forgot about empty's and used a cube hidden away.

Could you post textures of a helios combo here? Really need it!

^ I don't see Helios in the color maps in tankviewer.

I'll be going on vacation in about 7 hours until Wensday so after the star ladder final I will try to get a few more textures made with clay or prodigy.  Or do you want another paint?

Any other to your preference. Have fun on your vacation.

In the future would you like the link to the image and not the image itself? To save forum space.
