TankiViewer ~ BoxViewer

I have a Macbook; can someone help me step-by-step get Tank Viewer? I don't speak Russian so it's hard.

Go to the first post of this topic, download the viewer that you want (instruction included), find the archive on your computer, extract the contents into a new folder, open the folder, locate the .swf file inside, open it with your browser, wait some time for it to load, and voila.

I've downloaded the folder and got the .swf file, but how do I open it in a browser? When I click the "Other" option when finding something to open it with, Safari and Google Chrome aren't highlighted; can't click them.

Click on .swf file and pull it into your browser:

Oh, it's drag it into an open window, not the bleepin' icon. ---___---

Okay, now I'm just getting a blank grayish screen, and I've given it almost 10 minutes to load. Not loading......so.......

I tried 3 days to open it and it opened, soooo.... be patient.

If something takes 3 days to load, there's obviously something wrong with it.

I let mime attempt to load for 7 hours (went to school and let the laptop run) and still nothing happening. What's the problem?

Okay, I finally got it to load. Now, looking at the custom paints thread, what's the "config" mean, and how do I get there? I don't have Paint cause I'm on a Mac.

config.xml (configuration) is a small file in the same folder as TankViewer.swf which tells the app where to look for the hulls, turrets and paints and how to open them.

If you view the file with any text editor, you will see many links, all inside the said folder. So if you want to add a new paint, call it whatever you want, put it in the "colormaps" folder, then open the config file, scroll to the bottom and add a new entry mimicking the rest, of course with the name of your paint to tell the app where to find your paint and to load it.

Just got to know about this topic <3, I knew how to get tank viewer a long time ago and had made a tutorial in one of those days. Would love to share it with the community.

Tutorial 1 - How to get Tank Viewer and How to use it. Even how to use it in Photoshop

Tutorial 2 - How to add custom textures in Tank Viewer.
