It will never happen (I think) because the default mode of a xp is CTF and they will never add a game mode thats similar to a existing one. 

It can happen, like when you choose CTF and pro battle a small window pops saying do you want to make a:

XP battle ( rail gun + hornet )

in normal game ppl would get their best combo and remove the other combos tht annoy them and the game would be dead...

You have more chances to make your own battle that's what i wanted to do with this idea not only for XP but for any battles

XP is a minigame not a game mode. And not everyone have hornet railgun, A game mode is something that everyone can play if someone (few of players but still theres some) doesn't have hornet railgun they can't enjoy this mode.
