Hello everyone i play since 2012 and i loved madness. The fun part of it was jumping down with wasp  ^_^! And they took it out  of Tanki :'( ... can you please put it back only for Christmas only for 1 week i'm 100% sure alot of players  would play on that awesome spectacular map! please put it back. it would be out Christmas gift! I think you need to do some touch ups on the search function, reason being that when ever you make a new topic a forum mod always ask you to search the topic before making a new one.

Whenever i search my topic it comes up with heaps of topics that arent even related to the one i made.

Nop kiddo. you better forget about that map, as its not coming back at all ...it was removed because there was too many cheaters abusing it.  Upon removal it was in the plans to rework it but then there was many other features tanki wanted to work on and with limited resources they kept postponing the madness works.  It was a low priority job, other things needed more attention urgently.  Then came more and more stuff and the list kept on increasing up to the point it was no longer a thing to be bothered with at all, so the madness project got shelved indefinitely ..

 

Besides , if it ever came back, it would have never been as it was before, so you would not have liked it too much. 

 

On a plus note, rejoice, for there will be some new maps coming in 2014 ;)

It does, but without skill most other guns can still survive. Without skill Ricochet's currently useless, unlike the other guns.

From what the developers are expressing, it could be (and probably will be, again from what I'm seeing) better than what it was before rebalance compared to the other weapons.

To have your clan/team name displayed with your name, so mine would be

Or maybe beside the name, with shortcuts, like IC, so people will instantly know what clan you are, of course, if you are in english clan, it should say EN, and so for other communities, that way we will be able to recognize them much more easier. Or if you join a clan, if there is a system, there will be a little symbol next to your name, proving that you are in a team/clan with each countries representative flags.

The clan person in me would have loved to see something that de-marks clan members from other regular forum users.  There was even a time I was using this signature at the end of all my post on forum

Sadly, we do have to be realist about it.  At the moment doing this will be more source for problems than solutions.  It would mean having to add and change many core features of the forum to implement this.  It will also be a problem for clans, as members tend to join and leave clans almost everyday, and all that needs updating and additional resources.  The present way the Clan Transfer Windows works does not help at all either.  So in the end its a lot of fuss for just a fancy gimmick for clan members.

I understand that it won't run on weak smartphones. But i think it would work on tablets, like samsung galaxy tab 3 with 1.6 processor and 1gb RAM. I write this, becouse at summer i'll get my tablet. Hope someone read this. ;)

Interesting question.  However, even if this happened right when you get your tablet, will it be that cool ?  cause, you can see in the video, whether smartphone or tablet, the guy is trying to play with 2 thumbs only and can't even turn his turret as well as turning in a circle and firing at the same time and changing the camera angle and use supplies at the same time ...  major bummer !!!!!!

 

However, I think if they were to consider mobile platforms like the PS Vita then it would be more playable as you get to use all 10 fingers to do stuff :)

 

Question are, is it worth for them to develop this kind of thing now? Are they already doing? and Are there any other platforms they are working on? (well we all know they are, its not a secret)  So where have they reached in that field ? any progress? any ETA for rolling out etc ???

Granted Rico is not what it used to be before rebalance.  But back then it was a tier 2 weapon, and firebird, smoky and twins were tier 1.  Rebalance made it all balanced out and the weapons are all more or less on par with each other.

This is from the very last game I played before coming here on forum and posting this.  

 

As you can see from the picture, I used Rico M2 on a Forester M2 Wasp and despite one of the team mates being only an Isida M2 on an M1 Wasp, our team managed to overcome a tough opposition that featured M3 Thunder Viking Savannah, M2 Mammoth-M2 twins combo and an assortment of tanks bigger, fatter than our 4 light tanks (M3 rails, Smoky's, Freeze at some point, and at one point 2 Thunders :()  The enemy had recourse to leaving and changing guns during the game, and each time they did, we all waited for them to come back to carry on .. So this is the end result of a fair game.  (apart from a lagger on their side)

 

How effective was the Rico in that game?  Well very effective !!!  Somehow to my own surprise I even topped the list well ahead of these 2 Isidas  :blink: .. go figure !

 

And I'm not a pro with it at all.  In fact I never played Rico before rebalance, after rebalance I had M1 and only used it for parkour and those very rare once-in-a-while Rico fights with a few friends.  I upgraded to M2 yesterday during sales, and today was the first time I was really playing fighting with the gun.  

 

And it turns out to be a gun which despite all beliefs is quite very well balanced with other guns in the game.... However it is FREAKING DARN DIFFICULT TO MASTER !!!!!   And I'd go as far as saying that the way it is right now, its as hard if not harder to master than the Railgun !!  With some even bigger disadvantages than the Railgun.  Railgun can be used in many kind of maps , as a long or short range weapon and in many situations.

 

Rico, definitely not a long range weapon, cannot be used in big wide open maps too well (kungur, osa, serpuhov).  In short range it is not as strong as a twins or Isida or Firebird or Freeze...  If on a light tank, a thunder will most likely kill you in 2 shots and a Smoky will critically shoot you down before you get to kill them, specially if they manage to make you miss or dodge 1 or 2 plasma balls.  And in medium range,  to be able to shoot those Hornet M3 on the move requires a lot of mastery in both theory and practice of Rico's lock-on-target feature. (In fact many people don't even know about the latter)

 

Overall the Rico is by far the most difficult gun to play with on tanki (for standard users of course),, but is it bad ?   By far the answer is a big NO !!!!!

rejoice, new physics and new Rico will be on a testosterone regime, and is gonna be more more powerful than it is currently..  In fact all the features that made it difficult to use are being redone so standard players can enjoy it as well and not have it be an expert-level-use-only gun.   Actually it has already been redone, and is just waiting for new physics to come out to be shipped with together.  If you have had a chance in testing it on test server in the past 2 weeks or so, this is pretty much how Rico will be upon launch of new physics.  All parameters are pretty much set in stone, and may vary only lightly upon release.  And in the future there will be another additional refining of the parameters of all guns, should there be a need for it.

i just thought it would be nice if you could upgrade one part of you turret of hull such as upgrading the speed of your tank without upgrading everything else or upgrading the rotation speed of your turret without upgrading everything else. just an idea that me and others would love to see happen      (  ^o^  )

I would love to have a link from the Tanki Forum to the Game server log on page, that will open a new window.I tend to catch up on the forum before I play, and I like to see how many players are online and choose a server from there.

I think there should be a way to delete Tanki accs. Of course there must be failsafes against hackers, and no acc. over WO3 may be deleted. It would help new players (and me) clear up the acc. clutter.

I think that there should be something called a "supplies box". It should drop in battles, and whoever picks it up should get 10-20 of each supply. They should be fairly rare, maybe 1/4000 per battle fund increase. There should be a black or grey notification and a different siren announcing when it will fall. 

 

Another option is just have boxes fall randomly that contain 1 of each supply.

There are fortunately thinking about this idea :) A really cool member, @Remaine, made a descriptive topic on the matter that can be found here in July. I don't think he'd mind if you gave it some positive reputation ;)

What? M0 Rico against M2 Hornet takes full charge? When I play and get caught by a Rico they kill me in about 6 shots, and that's M2/M2.
