Why is it people suggest such OP turrets and hulls all the time?

It wouldn't really be that OP. If each bullet only did 1-2 damage it would be easily balanced with the other turrets.

i think all players should be able to "view" matches,like mods :)

Well, this could happen, but imagine this. 

 

A player is talking to his friend on a call via Skype. The friend is spectating a map which the player is--well...playing. He spectates it, and at one moment both teams take each other's flag. Well, the friend could tell the player where his team's flag is being carried, and what path he should take, which will give him a slightly unfair advantage. Or, if a short-ranged weapon with a faster hull is trailing behind the player, the friend can just say something like "Look behind you!" and will give the player another unfair advantage.

Uh, yes it would. They're NERFING Twins for a reason, you know. If they're gonna nerf a turret with 2 barrels for being OP, why would they ACCEPT such high damage with 6 barrels? 12 damage per second (which sounds like would be M0) IS OP.

Well, if 12 damage per second is OP, would Firebird, Isida, and Freeze be OP at m0?

I think there should be a weapon that has a shield facing whichever way the front of the turret is facing that has a mortar cannon behind the shield (A weapon that shoots high damaging grenades into the air,they come back down on your enemy). After firing you would go into a target mode so you'd know where the grenades would land. Would have high damage and slow reload. Very high/long range and not good for small maps. Would deal splash fire,can hit just you. Please accept my idea,if you have any suggestions for this please tell me!

 The number of barrels present is not the problem. You could have a hundred barrels firing at a rate of once per year, and therefore not be overpowered. Twins happens to be OP because it does too much damage for the rate of fire at M2 and 3. I think you'll find that it does much more damage per minute than my concept gun. Keep in mind that the chances of this being implemented are extremely low, so you will not have to worry about getting destroyed by it. From what I've gathered, the dev team is not weakening Twins. They are simply reducing rate of fire.

 

Jonathan raises an excellent point. Seeing as 12 damage per second is your standard for OP, wouldn't the three melee weapons be far more OP?

You'd still be able to take hits in your hull if only your turret had a shield. Working under the assumption that this shield would cover your whole tank, I can easily see ways of abusing this idea. People would soon start sending a line of tanks behind a shield-generating gun down chokeholds to form an undefeatable assault force. Also, this gun would effectively nullify the tactic of using available cover such as buildings and ramps, as a mortar could simply bombard you at will. Another problem is aiming. How would you come even remotely close to your target by simply eyeballing elevation and windage adjustments? You would need an overhead scope, which would make it too accurate.

 

Commando, you really shouldn't design weapons when your Rail can already obliterate everything, including me, on the field.

That doesn't look right. Are you sure that's the right Madness? The Madness I remember was pre-RB, and had a lot more ramps. So much fun with Smoky and Wasp M3. Just drive off, shoot, and hope ya land upright on solid ground :D

I have another idea for a weapon that I think you guys will like.

 

Consider this: The weapon is a Gatling gun with six barrels. It shoots standard bullets at a much faster rate of fire than Twins. Say, 300 shots a minute. Each of the shots does about 2 damage, and it isn't accurate at long range. Unlimited ammo with no recharge, like Twins.

 

What do you all think?

I had this idea where since if Tanki Created a selling feature it would be boring and plain stupid. But if they created something like a "store" or "trading" garage players could sell their turrets or special paints to others in their garage for lower or higher prices to get crystals. Also there could be special deals. Coupons. etc. Like a Tanki Store where players sell their items and other players in need can buy. And then Tanki can get money by creating a betting system. say an m2 freeze is buyable for WO4 for 13k crystals. But many players have to bid with say tanki points. Tanki points can be bought from tanki. And players who have the money can bid for special deals and get say an m2 freeze a rank before! This new feature would be exciting and interesting for the buying and selling in tanki.

 

Also there can be rare items that are sold by Tanki(seller) And cannot be bought in the garage. Special paints. Micro Upgrades. etc.

There Should be a new Game Mode: Where Clans can make their own battles. To organize them. 

Able to kick out players in clan and add them in easily.

Able to offically start the battle with a timer and end it.

 

Also I had this idea where there could be 4 way CTF Battles. Red Blue Green Yellow teams. This would allow for amazing gameplay and constant fun for players. It would only be practical with big maps but nevertheless a new thing for players to exlpore.

What? M0 Rico against M2 Hornet takes full charge? When I play and get caught by a Rico they kill me in about 6 shots, and that's M2/M2.

Even worse, an m2 kills an m2 hornet in around 7 shots and 6 when ur touching him. Rico is ok ATM I think I use it for fun and I really like it especially I love it when my exp bar glows when I shoot someone by bouncing the shots.

 

You get 10 shots as a full charge and then after the shots reload as a normal smoky shot.

 

I think Rico recoil should be less so it can be applied on a wasp.

So, you're trying to compare close-range turrets to a buffed-up version of Twins? Wow.

 

Firstly, all those close-range turrets can run out of charge, some quicker than others, which means they'll be rendered powerless. Twins however, and the buffed up version of it that this person has suggested does not run out of charge. He's even acknowledged it himself - "unlimited ammo"

 

By saying that, it seems as though you didn't bother to think about the other aspects which made those turrets not-so-overpowered. Now, onto kipk:

Firstly, JB's "excellent" point has been dismantled in my previous posts.

 

I think that's an unrealistic example when you look at the turrets already in the game. Why on earth would you have a turret with 100 barrels?

 

What it comes down to is the fact you've unexplained it properly. You haven't specified what the damage will be at each modification will be. Therefore, I have to go with assumptions. Either way, whether it's M0 or M2, in your case, 300 shots per minute from 6 barrels is overpowered. You can say it's underpowered to defend your "unique" turret (even though, in my eyes, it's a horrific idea anyways, OP or not and let's not forget it's unoriginal) but I think it is in fact OP and in order to prevent me from getting such thoughts, EXPLAIN YOURSELF.

 

But you're right in saying the turret won't be added because I doubt they'd add an unoriginal, more overpowered version of Twins especially with the post promoting it being so unelaborative so I probably shouldn't have said anything.

what about a cybersport for teams

There won't be any more teams, they are all going to be converted to clans now. but they will also be lowering the rank requirements for making a clan I think. Still waiting for the final draft.

The team kick most certainly needs to be scrapped as I had just entered a battle & was told by a good trusted teammate here that I had got 5 kicks within a short time so I left as I was not going to be on a team that has obviously fools in it.
